Yeah, but they couldn't just give everyone optics to begin with, it would be too fair on the new players! I remember dreading having to use a new weapon with iron sights, none of them are as good as anything with optics so your K/D would dip. Fortunately it's pretty easy to unlock the first optic so whatever.

I didn't question the fact that irons are in the game or that you have to use them for ten kills (I like that as matter of fact) , I was just remarking that they aren't that important in real life due to the wide use of optic sights.

Neither, I was running on mobile broadband back then, and there was no lag or nothing. Just alot more delay than normal broadband.

I've actually never seen anyone complain about my ping ingame.

Had quite many 140 - 170 kills rounds, and a handful above 200.

It's always great to have a sniper rifle (or whatever weapon) and pick down that pilot!
Specially if the chopper is full of other players, and they don't get out before it's to late.

I'd be ashamed if that was me, No offence. Its obvious the high ping contributed to this. Maybe you cant help the quality of your broadband but it annoys me when people resort to underhand tactics like this. Again you may not be able to help it but its still wrong.

Speaking of Noshahr TDM. I used the MAV for an entire 200% game. Got 19 surveillance efficiency ribbons and ended up getting my first surveillance medal. It is quite boring and probably pisses off the other team but it is an easy way to get those ribbons. 👍

I love the new maps, but the realism of the gun damage continues to elude me as Omnis pointed out. The cross bow is tons of fun, and whats even more amazing is people die with one shot. So why does it take a whole clip and a reload with my F2000 blasting someone in the face? That has been my major point of frustration with this game. I think sometimes the hit boxes are there just to make me feel better with actuality, I'm not actually hitting my target? What's worse is that it seems I die in one or two hits. Humm.... Makes no sense. I do like the design of the new maps though. The architecture and colors are amazing. It makes the rest of the maps look flat and washed out.

How is that balanced?

An M98 cannot one hit kill someone (excluding headshot) as that would be an easy kill hence unbalanced. That's how it's balanced.

And before someone says: But the crossbow one hit kills people.
It sure does, but the reload takes ages and won't really benefit you that much. Maybe it can get annoying on TDM perhaps where people don't generally stay in groups and you can pick them one by one.

But generally I find that it's not too annoying and certainly not game breaking.
C4 on flags and jet ramming is a lot more annoying for example.

How is that balanced?

The M98B can kill with a single shot at the longest possible range in the game whereas the Xbow can kill with a single shot at maybe 100 metres using the standard Xbow and standard bolt (if you're lucky and find someone who isn't moving) or maybe up to 250 metres with the scoped version and the balanced bolt. Emphasis on the maybe because the Xbow bolts are the slowest non-explosive projectiles in the game, so your target has to be either AFK or camping for you to actually realistically have a chance at that range. Seriously, it takes about 4 seconds for the bolt to travel 250 metres.

The M98B holds 5+1 rounds in a magazine and can probably fire two, maybe three rounds in the time it takes to fire one and reload the Xbow, so really the M98B may still win in a close range fire fight with an Xbow provided the first bolt misses or isn't a one hit kill (because it's not always definitely a one hit kill). The Xbow also only gets ten bolts in a single load, the M98B gets 35 plus the six rounds you start with, I think. If you're good and have a lot of luck you can get a one hit kill with every single one of those bullets with more ease than any other gun because of the low bullet drop and high velocity.

That sounds pretty balanced to me. Besides, if you're trying to kill people up close with the M98B you should be using a shotgun!


Just yesterday I was running around with my Mk11 Mod 0 and thought I heard some footsteps behind me which stopped shortly after I did. I strafed to the right and spun around, sure enough there was an enemy with his Xbow, who panic fired and missed. Kills don't get much easier than that, in fact I definitely had an easier time killing him than he was apparently having trying to kill me.

I've killed so many people by hearing them first . I heard someone bring out his knife to try and collect my tags on Epicenter. So I spun around and shot him twice with my .44. I think I teabagged him as well for good measure

Those are some of the best kills. Someone tries to knife you, you turn the tide, and you get the kill instead.

I like the AS VAL. It is a solid weapon choice. I am closing into unlocking Extended Mags and looking forward to the associated benefit.

I have taken somewhat of a liking to the Suppressed MP443. The extra magazine capacity compared to the 1911 is very nice to have. However, I miss the extra stopping power of the .45 ACP that the 1911 fires. I also notice the greater muzzle flip of the 9mm pistols. It is purely visual, but I need more time to adjust to the difference.

I don't know why but the JNG-90 with the 7x scope looks gorgeous.

Easily my favourite sniper layout.

It was TDM haha. I'm a decent player but no one even came close to touching me on either team. Closest they came was 44 kils haha.

I'm guessing it was 500% Metro or Grand Bazaar

Agreed. I can't tell you how many times I lost a good killstreak because I ahd no ammo and a pistol wouldn't cut it in certain situations. Pretty annoying.

109 is good, in any ticket match.

76 is not good, in any ticket match.

Still though, being up 33 kills over myself made me proud, considering for a while my deaths were always way more than kills. Ended up going 103-61 the next night haha.
