I'm really starting to fall in love with Scavenger. Easily my favorite DLC game mode we've gotten so far.

Also, I'm done with hardcore servers for a while. Joined one with a friend and this happened...

Saw some mortar guys on the edge of the map > ran over to them > about 50 feet away from them a random squad mate spawns on me, clearly doesn't like where I've led him to, and puts a L96 shot through my head > I spawn back on him with a SPAS and get revenge > proceed to kill the mortar guys > get angry letter from squad mate > laugh at him

I was actually kind of enjoying the round until people just started trolling, but meh


edit: And I just realized spawning on a team mate to kill him in revenge count as trolling..... he deserved it

I was parachuting into Kharg Island above the main building, and accidentally pulled R2 and threw a grenade. I think nothing of it, until the grenade explodes and gives me a double kill! LOL!
 
Got to play with THERUSSIANBADGER today for nearly an hour. Had him in my squad. :dopey: I did better than him in a few games as well, I felt accomplished. :lol:
 
I'm jealous :p. The most famous people I've played with are the guys from Battle Chatter/Nuketown Hooligans. I knifed one of them as well :D

So far I've gotten the Silent Hunter tag (100 AS VAL kills, 50 MP443 Supp.) and I'm on my way to getting the Battlescars on (got a few more knifes and one or two more SCAR-H kills).
 
I have played with or against a few lesser known players. The games with them were pretty awesome. The games against them, not as much.
 
I should add it was while he was streaming (I remembered he was after I realized he was in my squad) so I was able to hear him as we played. Made it that much more cool. :dopey:

I love watching the 'trollin dem noobs' vids because I always expect to see the person come creeping up behind me while I'm laid on a rock somewhere and place some C4 and T-bag me and use a chopper to fly past my face and get some squad mates to spawn on my ass and run just my feet over with a jeep so I can realise I'm being ridiculed for being covert, stand up, turn around to see what's happening and then fly 3 miles into the air from the suicide C4 they just detonated.......

Any tips on how to get through boring rounds? I want the L85 but SQDM is so boring.

Get a good squad of friends and stomp all the noobs that you come across. Either that or you can do what I did and pray that you get a good team. The L85 is GODLIKE though

That it is. I found the best way to get around the tedium of actually unlocking the L85 was to remember the times I'd picked it up off of someone else and focus on unlocking it for myself because I could tell it was awesome. It's easily my favourite assault rifle, it suits my style perfectly; I normally, or used to, prefer aggressive Recon but I find the L85 is to the Assault class what the SKS is to the Recon class, sort of the overlap between assault rifle and sniper rifle. The G3A3 might be better in that role in some ways but I find it's too compromised, the L85 can function perfectly well as an assault rifle but with the added bonus of being amazing at long (in assault rifle terms) ranges, as long as you're patient that is.

Get on with it!

Not for a long time, I got into using the L85 because of the assignment for it and haven't found it lacking in any way. When I get to 10 stars with the L85 I might switch to the AN or the SCAR-L, I used that for a while and that too is a great long range rifle.
 
The L85 does everything better than the SCAR-L other than reload speed. I have been using the SCAR-L for the Battlescars assignment and have been quickly reminded why I stopped using the weapon. It brings nothing special to the table and other assault rifles do a much better job overall in more situations.

If you can get a hang of the two round burst, then the AN-94 is very deadly. Equip your optic of choice, including magnified optics like the ACOG, and the heavy barrel, then proceed to plink away at targets. The two bullets hit right on top of each other.
 
I have over 10 SS's with both the AN-94 and L85 and i dont think i can choose wich one i prefer. The AN-94 is so easy to use i feel bad using it, Iv'e found it works admirably with a suppressor aswell. The L85 is the perfect recipe assault rifle in my opinion. The 650 RPM i think is all you need from an AR, It just makes it so easy to keep on target, And with this its easier to pick headshots so they can kill quickly aswell.

SCAR-L? On my 6th SS and so far? Not in the same league as the other two, Its ok but i would take every other low RPM AR before it.

So it should be. It costs about twice as much as an M4 to produce IIRC.

Also what is the L86 like?

Pretty much what you'd expect; accurate and easy to handle. It's my favourite LMG. And the L96 is my favourite bolt action rifle. It could be said there's a pattern emerging here! Not sure our Forces use G18s or the REX though.
