Were you drunk by any chance?

I was not. Can I use it as an excuse for my aim being slightly off? No? :grumpy: Actually, I was a bit tired and knew going in that it was going to be a bad idea to play a bit tired. That did not stop me and the results speak loudly.

FFS DICE who's clever idea was the multi kills part of the Rambo assignment. On PC far enough but on console its a 3rd of a team you have to wipe out in a split second. You very rarely see full vehicles on console so your forced to drop c4 over canals tdm or play like a noob on Cquarters. And I still can't get more than triple kills.

Even on PC, the Rambo Assignment is still not a great idea. You do not often run into a group of four together and them then "cooperate" long enough for four very quick kills. Someone at DICE is intentionally trolling us with this Assignment; probably the same person that thinks putting the EOD Bot in Assignments is an awesome idea.

Is the Rambo assignment for killing a whole squad, or just 4 kills in quick succession?

It's for a few things but the hard part is the fact that you have to get at least four kills in quick succession a few times, I think it's five.

I think I might have 1 of those  Maybe more though as I played a few rounds of metro recently.

I tend to just kinda let the assignments come naturally.

Oh well you can get 64 man on that. I’m stuck with PS3’s miserable 12 man teams :(

Well, on PC with 64 on metro its basically just one team trapped downstairs and one team upstairs throwing grenades and rockets down. It's terrible. And dumb.

Ouch, well it sure will be hard to get with only 12 enemies.

Most kills i've got with 1 action, was 11 with an RPG shot down the left hand hallway (when being upstairs on B, conquest).

That was total mayhem.

Yup, and those LVG's...Geeez, I hate those...

They took it out for a reason, it probably won't be added (reason being that there were too many bush wookies).

The took them out because they put in the ability to go prone. Prone plus wookie costumes equals major camping. Between the two, I think prone was the way to go. And the scope glint on high-powers is a nice touch.

Bf3 has killed at least 3 of my controllers this year. Keep getting floppy analog sticks.
Bought one of these today.

Should be interesting as i am extremely unused to the xbox stick layout.

Hope to get a couple rounds in this evening if not for sure tomorrow night.

Main draw for me is the sturdier sticks and 2 year warranty. For $20 more than a sony controller figured i would five it a shot.

On first inspection it feels very very sturdy, with nice deep dished sticks as opposed to the domed stockers. Triggers seem to have a much better return on them as well.

Oh yeah, pretty lights too :)

Multi kills are seriously getting on my nerves now, Only one so far. :(

I've come to the conclusion that it is nearly impossible to get them playing properly on console and you are forced to play like an absolute idiot. I should have 2 but the game decided it was a triple kill + one kill.

What does ghillie suit help when the big bright light from the scope on any x6 + scope spoils your location?

Good point. Im one of those "bring in a bit more realism to Battlefield" guys. I dont want too much, because then it becomes a simulator. Back to your point....IRL scope glint DOES NOT occur whenever you zoom in. If the sun is facing you, and you look through your scope, causing the rifle to move ever so slighty to the correct angle at which the sun reflects off your scope, in turn giving away your position, then that is understandable. But when you're in a night map, completely isolated from any light source (and your not facing the moon) and you give off a glint.... I call BS!

Yes, and even deep down in Metro, in the darkest locations of the map, the glint ruins your sniping position (or whatever weapon with high-optic scope you're using).

What annoys me the most though, is not the glint when aiming down sight, but the glint when you're not...

I miss sitting in plain sight on Arica harbour Harvest Day and not being shot:lol:

The funniest sight in BC2 was seeing a bush wookie after he had been shot out of camp-site, tumbling down a long slope like a giant teddy bear.

I've been playing BF3 on the PS3 again, and was wondering if i could squad up with some of you. My PSN is mika_98

thanks 👍
