Git a few rounds in with the Fus1on controller.
Pretty good impression so far. But will have alot more time on it after tomorrow night.
Pros so far:
Sticks: much more responsive and i think they have slightly more range. Much easier to make minor aim adjustments. Might up my sensitivity a little.
L1/R1: these fit the curve of your finger nicely. They are longer ( side to side ) than stock and thinner top to bottom. Much snappier feel.
L2/R2: these are smaller side to side but wider top to bottom over stock. They also have a sharper curve to them. Very nice feel and quick return.
(I believe all 4 shoulder buttons are potentiometer based)
L3/R3.: harder to click over stock, but not in a bad way. Solid feel when using the sticks as buttons. Having the dished tops helps to keep any unwanted stick movement when pushing in as button
Buttons: yeah buttons

they have a better feel when using them. Raised a little more than stock and not as dome shaped also made of a harder plastic.
Feel: being 6ft3 i have a pretty big hand. Tho i never had issue with ds3, the Fus1on is larger and very comfortable. I think it is slightly larger than an xbox controller as well.It has removeable grips and came with 2 different sets. One matte finish like a ds3 and the other set a soft rubber material. I switched to the rubber before use.
Carrying case. Moulded carrying case. Has enough room to keep a bt headset in aswell. Most wont use this but where my ps3 gets packed up and brought around with me, its a nice feature.
Pretty lights: buttons&sticks light up in pretty colors. 5 choices or off. A button on the back of the controller switches between your six options. It is well placed and really should never get accidentilly pushed.
Power cord: yeah its corded. But its a ten foot cord that is covered in a metal braid. Comes with a wrap that doubles as a bracelet. (Lol)
Overall build quality is very very solid
Cons
Select/home are a little close together. I hit the home button alot when going to hit select to spot. Not major, ill get used to it
Dpad: well built nice feel and a nice bowl shape, but with it positioned xbox style it is going to tkae some getting used to reaching further to choose l or r gadget. I started using right thumb for right gadget/ left for left. Again, near 500 hours of bf3 is going to take a little getting used to.
Grips: the hard plastic ones installed as stock. Personal pref.
Its corded.
Overall i am impressed. It is going to take a little getting used to the dpad and select positions but other than that this controller is nice. The fact it has a 2 year warranty makes the $20 over ds3 price feasable.
As this is a tournament grade controller it has no additional function over a ds3.
