I got that assignment for destroying a vehicle with a repair torch!
 
I swear this game hates me sometimes. I kid you not, I have joined and rage quited 6 times in a row because it puts me on a team that is utterly worthless.

It happens with me too. Man, I hate that! I want to add more people from GTP, but the problem is that I never know what time I'm going to play.
 
Found the gtp platoon, but what do the platoons do? I've seen no mention of it in-game

I managed to destroy a tank with the repair torch but when I was on the first engineer assignment.. Still trying for the second
 
I am going to play again today and try and get some more of those weapons.

Ha thanks. I was mad we were doing so good. My stats saved before lagging out though so the kills and whatever I unlocked counted at least.

@Roushfan I waited for the gunner to get out and shot him and when he was distracted I proned next to it and used the repair tool.

Oh supra and midship, I'll be on later today to.

My suggestion is you dive in there after it gets badly damaged from rockets.
 
For that assignment I disabled the tank and when the gunner luckily got out I shot him and waited till the guy was firing at a teammate to run at it, didn't always work but you gotta keep trying.

Yeah but if you can team up with a teammate have one distract/damage the tank and the other finish it off with the torch.

Yea that's actually a better way but you'd need communication.

I was playing conquest assault last night on gulf of Oman and I was spawn killing a couple guys pretty hard. I let one of them get in a tank and immediately put a rocket in the back disabling it and finished it off with the repair tool before he could get out.

And now after last nights debacle I must ask is there any easier way for us all to be on the same team? We squad up and I find the most empty server I can but by the time the game loads up its full and we're on different teams. I was sitting at the spawn in screen an entire game waiting for someone on the other team to leave but I got dropped from the game before it happened. What a PITA it was the first half of the night.

I though they fixed it in the patch but after last night it's evident they didn't. We would've had It if I didn't lag out.

No, my whole EA account is messed up, I have battlelog on ps3 but I can't access it with my computer to add anyone

I have to play SQDM here too for whatever gun that is. Haven't played a round yet :lol:

I unlocked the L86A2 and it is a very good gun, minimal recoil but you get the 12x Scope as default so i just use iron sights.

That is kinda dumb having 12x as default, it was pretty funny getting kills with it

And m39 no scope is great too, it's just like the m14 in bc2 although the iron sights are like the m1 garand
