Multiplayer for sure. I'm going to be an a** day 1 with Jets. I want to get flares before guys start getting stingers because at that point jets without flares is just suicide.

I have a rule for all games which is to play the Single Player first before I try anything else, so as not to possibly spoil any surprises etc. However I may have to break that rule just this one time.

Im the same way. Usually once i go online, the single player game is never touched again.

My plan too. Going to jump into Caspian or Operation Firestorm first.

I wish I could go to midnight releases but they're always on school nights. :grumpy:
 
I get up at about 6am to go to work every day. Why in the heck do they release everything on a tuesday and not a friday? I know there is a reason but whatever it is it sucks.

Tanks are fun guys! :) Its crucial that one of you is an engineer though... To fix the thing of course... But if you do it right, it feels so rewarding... Owning in a tank FTW.. :p
 
Well 5 hours is only about what I was able to put into bfbc2

If you are with a company like say IGN or Machinima I'm fairly certain they get every game almost 2 weeks before hand, so they can review it and get interest just before release.

Battlefield has been the exception though, they've held back on review copies till the day one patch was ready.

Is there going to be a GTPlanet Platoon then or what?
 
Dumb question: I've never played BF before but want to switch from CoD... will I need a headset / mic to get the most from this game? I assume the answer is 'yes'.

That gameplay footage above gave me a special feeling in my pants...

Yes. Any cheap mic or something will do, but honestly the expensive surround sound mics with individual volume control for chat and game as well.

I don't get that either. I've got to get up at 7 the next morning so I'm not going.

Yeah it's a good idea. I can't okay with one sometimes or I'd risk waking up the house so it is fine to play without. The mic really does help if your playing with a good squad.

Yea me to =(. Plus I gotta wait cause my brothers gotta go to the hospital for a checkup so they won't be back till about 5. At least the GT5 DLC will keep me busy for about an hour.

Not true on pc I don't believe. Midnight in PST so if anybody here is an East coaster on pc I believe your waiting until 3 am.
 
changed my ps3 order to xbox.

now I have xbox and PC.

I have my turtle beach headset, earforce x41, I'm ready to f$##%% #$%# up !!!


Tempted to go to bed now and wake up at 11pm and go to gamestop and get bf3 or wait till after work and get it................what to do?

why would you guy want to play online right away??? I can't wait to play the campaign, than the co-op, than online
