I really enjoy to destroy tanks with C4 (as I already did in BC2 - 1000 C4 kills ;))
I think the most don't realize that some already have the C4 unlocked. It's so easy to get near a tank most of the time. And with 2 sticks you blow them up completelly. Much more effective than Rockets!
Also, Mines are great! Noone is even looking for them right now! Already got 20 kills with them. ;)

I used to use C4 a lot as well. Be a recon and put the C4 on before anyone is in the tank. Then walk away, snipe some people, then when you notice that the tank is gone. Trigger the C4. It's so satisfying haha

The recon class have it too? I only unlocked it for the supporter, but that would be cool to have C4 as recon too.
I should start playing it more ;)

I was referring to BadCompany 2. I have yet to play Battlefield 3. It comes out in two days for me.
 
Awesome game is awesome. This game does not disappoint whatsoever, except for one thing... Forming squads on the PS3 is a pain in the butt... The only way we could stay together in a squad without getting split up was to make a new server and join an empty game. I understand the need to balance teams and such but don't let it hinder the squads in such a way that you spend 30 minutes quitting games and forming up again. For the rest I'm really happy with it! 👍

Friends were having a LAN Party (OLD SCHOOL!! :p) over the weekend to play BF3, so I didn't have much time to play on my machine. Although, I did get to play on the PC on Ultra totally maxed out and all I have to say is :drool: :drool: :drool:.... A world of difference from the PS3. Gameplay is roughly the same, but the maps are REALLY huge.... Found myself running aimlessly a couple of times because I spawned in the wrong place. Anyways I hope to squad up with some people from GTP soon and tear up the battelfield :D
 
LOVING BF3 it is amazing especially the multiplayer maps which are awesome. I swear I nearly broke my controller into 2 wen I kept losing connection and then couldn't connect to the ea server crap :( i dont know if its just my area or something but hopefully it'll be all better tomoro morning :D
 
Why can't I install the game from the Cd (pc obviously)??

I start the Cd, entered my code, and then it starts downloading?
WHY?
20 min download instead of 5 min CD install??

Ohhh EA....
 
Well I've finally jumped in and had my first ever online game. At the start had absolutely no idea what was going on :dopey: and what all the icons mean (still a bit sketchy on the latter) but I had fun.
Spent the first 5 mins or so running around getting shot :lol:. Managed a few kills in the end though.

I'll see how I go tomorrow not alcohol assisted.

If you squad up with some people from here it becomes a lot more fun ;) You can spawn on squad mates an such and also help each other out, ie. reviving, healing, fixing vehicles.. etc. :D
 
I played a bit of Co-op yesterday. I did not realize that the game matched you up with a random until trying Co-op. I guess I was expecting Modern Warfare 2 Spec Ops where you have to have a friend group with you to play Co-op. I finished the first two missions and part of the third one before stopping. Managed to get about half way to unlocking the MP412 REX. If anyone wants to play some Co-op later tonight on PC, then let me know, I will likely be on some tonight.

Yeah even if it says downloading I think it means its getting it from the disk. A 10-15gig game isn't going to install in 5 minutes. It would have taken far more than 20 minutes if it was downloading it over the internet.
 
Yeah realized that too now. Already thought my connection would have dramaticlly improved lol.
The downloading got me confused

game is awesome though.

And tomorrow is a holiday. Winning!
 
Gonna take me a long time to unlock chaffs/flares and missiles for the planes. :|
 
I can't get flares for the jets. The only points I got were 100 for vehicle disable and 100 for vehicle destruction. I got 150 towards the flares.
 
I seriously can't wait to get back on, but I think it'll have to wait until tomorrow... My ladyfriend is here. I did have a quick go on my brother's PS3 copy earlier and actually managed to get a jet kill quite easily. Flying with a mouse totally sucks, so I'm going to use the 360 pad I have when I'm in a jet. Can't wait, but I have other duties to attend to right now.

Play rush and spot a lot! I picked up 100 points in spot assists yesterday in one rush base just diving towards the mcoms in cockpit view. Make sure you get a good run and make sure your in the cockpit view and then just spam the spot button like crazy. Don't forget to pull up though and watch out for the lampposts...
 
Whats the international servers like in this game? Compared to COD where you cant play across continents, where I live its quite hard to find a lot of games where I get a good connection.

Anyway, I think Im going to get this game tomorrow, if anyone wants to play, shoot me an add on PSN, I'll have to try and track down my mic though. :nervous:

Also, Mines are great! Noone is even looking for them right now! Already got 20 kills with them. ;)

But the jet? I don't think I will ever get the hang of them. they also seem pretty pointless for me to use....

And I'm glad MW3 comes out soon. Noone really plays the objective. I loose soooo many games bacause of that. And my K/D is pretty bad, because I'm pretty much the only one who tries to get in the Danger Zone! :mad::lol:

Every time I put C4 on a vehicle nothing happens. I put 3 on a tank an detonated it and it didn't even get damaged so I figured it was just lag so then I threw 2 C4s on an AAV7 that was disabled and nope not a scratch. I was pretty pissed.

Was it your own teams?

Sometimes even when a vehicle is abandoned it stays as a spawn point for the team that had it originally. If it was still in your team's ownership then it wouldn't have done anything. If not it's a bug you ran into.
 
Just tried out the G3A3 in Co-op and I liked it on semi-auto, but did not try out full-auto.

Yea it was enemy all right. It was marked as enemy plus I was Russian when the AAV7 incident happened. The tank was also marked it was the M1 Abrams on Grand Bazar and I was defending.
