I hate costum servers so much, the admin team is losing and then he decided to move pretty much the entire winning team to his but he lost anyway :/

Some people are sore losers ;)

Gatyrs and I were playing with another and we switched to the losing team. Sometimes its more fun.


As far as my server, me and smuff are flying around now. He's prob laughing at me crashing into everything ;) as he flys around like airwolf

I agree completely with you but the problem is that the team that was losing didn't helped at all, they were just camping in the base with no enemy there :grumpy: and I was the only one who was actually fighting and conquering flags.
 
Haha. Some strokes of brilliance and putting the thing right where I want it and other times flying like Frisbee made of playdoh. :)
 
Might be having people over. If plans fall thru I'm down.

I set my preset to start with 2 players. Be good to level up choppers.
 
I got in a lobby where all you could do was cap flags on helicopters. Got over 20K XP for Scout Helicopters. You guys should do that.
 
After shooting an AK-47 in real life, it's a good thing it's not in the game.
 
That's what I was thinking Patrick. If two of us are on opposite teams we can rotate cap. Flags. 450 points each flip and they will be mastered pretty quickly.

I was pretty surprised when I saw it wasn't.
Seems like the first weapon that they would model.
 
I put the server to play thru dice most popular. I may be on again later.

Those that have had trouble searching the server make sure to drop the player count to zero in case its empty

A friend and I did this yesterday after owning up the enemy team at a big ticket Caspian Border.
We were on the defending team at GB Rush and since it was a big ticket game, it would have taken ages to get the tickets down. Both of us swapped teams and we took out most of the M-COMs within 10 minutes (I think only 2 M-COMs weren't planted by one of us :D
 
It does indeed look good. I personally am excited for this dlc. Wonder what other maps it may Include. Surely its not just one and weapons.

According to the first trailer it's 4 maps, I don't understand why people are losing hope already after watching that video.

A lot of Battlefield fans are upset because it's not what Battlefield is. They think BF is turning into Call of Duty. I'm fine with this pack, by the way.

Ha, just wait until you see my flying skills, I'm right up there with the Dodo.

I was on the server for about 45mins last night practicing. Another thing I found to be handy in an empty server was that I could test various attachment for somes weapons checking for recoil and to see how the bullets grouped up against the superstructure of the US carrier.

I like how flares don't break lock anymore but one missile still isn't enough to take anything out. Even if you get a hit the range is so short now that the target is well out of range repairing before you can even reload.
 
On dlc: I didn't understand all the whining until I realized that, yup its the human condition kicking in. Its different, people are afraid of different. When people are afraid, they go on the offensive.

I'm very excited to see what they can do with destruction in these small maps. I think that time lapse video of the hallway is only the tip of the iceberg.

I thought I remembered the trailer saying 4 maps. Wasn't sure so I didn't want to say so lol.

Just some ideas, tho I think hospital would be to close the schools in design so maybe to keep the politically correct nuts at bay it will be hospital.

Think they would go mountain/cave with a map?
There was a great map on the original socom that was a network of caves.


What you all think we will see?

I doubt a shipping yard would be used, to muche like canals and kharg tdm maps.

I think its going to be a great change of pace.


Custom map rotation building from infaltry cq to minor vehicle maps like sienne bazaar and Tehran. Leading into canals and damavand and ending on firestorm kharg and Caspian style maps.

Except the way it recoils is basically retarded. Up and to the right about 5 inches per shot.

You could set up a paypal account. Im sure we could all put forward $5-$10 towards it.
Or we could by PSN cards and send you the codes, and you could put it back to your PSN.

I'd give some money towards it on a PayPal account, but the PSN Codes are region locked so that won't work unfortunately :(

I appreciate the thought but I'm not concerned with it. If the server gets busy I may renew it when the 90 days is up. If that's the case and the community decides to pitch in I'd be open to considering donations. Mainly because I wont be on as much in the summer months.

This is quite clever 👍

Spent some time doing the same (hope it doesn't count towards accuracy stats :scared: ) testing LMG and came across interesting findings:

1) Suppressor is actually a tighter bullet spread then Flash Suppressor on the PKP, at the cost of slightly more drift. Who knew.
2) Next project gun is the QBB95. Thing has like no recoil and a decent rate of fire. Weird bullet size, so not sure what its suppression ability is like and no extended mags though :(.
3) M249 has pretty average bullet spread
4) M240 and M60 are pretty good, as is suprisingly the Type-88.

Good fun round at Seine their hollidog. I think my team lost by like 5 tickets in the end!
 
Seeing two people on there, I got on the GTPlanet server and started practicing my flying in the Z11 and was immediately set upon by two Little Birds. I had to ditch and then got killed. I looked at the names of the players and they were none of us GTPer's so I left. I kept checking it to see how many players were on but it was never more than 2 and usually 0. Probably the time zone difference is a big factor.

Got banned from a server last night because I was Squad wiping too much I guess. It was a Rush game on Op Metro. At the very start I set C4 around the A Mcom and sat back to observe. Nothing happened for about 30 seconds then all of a sudden the entire team rushed the Mcom. I detonated the c4 and killed two dudes but couldn't stop the rest. Go killed. Respawned at deployment saw B was now armed so I waited at the deployment for it to blow and for the tunnel to blow open. Ran down the pipe duct, through down and ammo pack and me and my extended mag PKP Pecheng lay down to await the enemy. They came 4 at a time and I crushed them. This happened a few times and then all of a sudden I was disconnected. Message said "You have been banned from the server." Um.. what?
