I had that happen and it drove me insane everytime i got killed by it.

I got it back i just don't remember how. I can try to figure out how I did if you want?

Then sign in with your BF3 username and password on each account.
(which login is what you did when you first started the game)
Then it will tell you you have unlocked it.

So while I'm waiting for this 2GB update (:grumpy:) to download and install I thought I would ask for some help.

When playing this game before I've had real problems trying to find a decent weapons set-up. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Can't really give an opinion on Engineer, as I never use that class. :dopey:
 
So I want to get a map pack, I already have B2K.

I thought AK looked pretty good, and the new one just came out. But I would like suggestions cause I can only get one at a time. Which one is the most fun?
 
Close Quarters. My opinion. AK is just too big and Aftermath just isnt for me. Close Quarters have very interesting maps, fun rounds and lots of action.

Depends, what do you like? What's your favourite map and mode? If its team deathmatch on Canals or something then Close Quarters, if you like tanking around Operation Firestorm then Armoured Kill. The most recent one is very good though.
 
I like to play conquest on OP Metro. So I was thinking Close Quarters would be a good idea. But at the same time, I would like to expand my horizons a little bit. It would really help when I play bigger maps if my squad was actually decent and worked together. Op Metro is the only map where I can actually "go it alone" and not really suffer for it.

Heavy barrel any sight u like or are comfortable and try it with out a fore grip if u don't like it then try it with the fore grip

One of my personal favourite loadouts is the SCAR H with US holo, forgrip and flash sup with either Stinger or Javelin and a repair kit and a glock 18 pistol.

So, foregrip + heavy barrel? I think I've been using laser sight and US Holo with no other attachments, so I'll give it a try.

Just for some reason, I typically get a headshot kill 1 out of every 3 kills, but with the L85A2, I'm getting 1 for every 6 kills.

Before you use the fore grip with the heavy barrel try using it without the fore grip.. I have better success with out the fore grip but that's just me.. its up to personal preference
 
Finally, just 1 knife kill away from a star. Given I almost exclusively play CQ, its taken me ages, but almost there.

Man, this game needs some new guns, stat. And not 'new' guns with exactly the same characteristics as existing ones, but just new variety. I am finding its a bit boring now, using the same ones over and over, which is why I have expanded to PDW's now....although they are awesome and infuriating in equal measure and don't really fit my play style.
 
And I'm just 31 kills away from my tenth star with the knife. :D

What I'm doing with the guns is I use one gun until I achieve mastery and then move on to the next one.
I'm currently at 43 mastered guns and am planning on doing as many as I can before I get bored of the game. Probably won't actively try and get the special sidearm ones, like the suppressed and tac light versions as you don't get a dog tag for those and I want to have at least some reward at the end.

No idea how you do that!

My first reaction is to shoot someone, not knife them, although even so, I don't get nearly that many opportunities to get 10 stars.

I could have had my 100th kill on Seine - some noob was mortaring next to the flag at D, but the knife animation screwed up and he woke up from his snooze in time for someone to steal my kill.

I suppose I don't mind as much if a knife attempt fails and I get killed in the process. I still go for it if the chance is there.

Of course it's different if the match is really close. I don't mess around like that then.

I tried to get as much masteries aswell, So far Ive got 47 with a few weapons only 1 - 10 kills from mastery. I'm more proud of my quest of getting 10 stars with weapons though. I have 28 weapons over 1000 kills + 10 ss's.

Ya, you can't knife guys on mortars for some reason. You can repair torch them though.
 
Hey guys, I'd like some opinions. Now I don't have the game, but considering getting it at the beginning of summer. (Can't be getting new games around this time) Would this game be worth getting? I can never get any good opinions without there being Call of Duty fanboyism incorporated. Battlefield looks much better to my outsider view so I want it more, but not sure if it's worth it because of course I can't get any good opinions without CoD interference. Your take on it?
