best animation: the Daft Punk anime videos, by Toei Animaton and mister Leiji Matsumoto. one more time, aerodynamic, digital love, and harder better faster stronger. honorific mention goes to pearl jam's do the evolution.

best editing: there are many videos that would get that one, cant think of one rite now. oh, there is one. U2s elevation, featuring lara croft and the edge.

Editing? Well I already nominated this in the 'best video' thread, but Roni Size's "Brown Paper Bag" is awesome. Also, check out The Chemical Brothers' "Hey Boy Hey Girl" (which should also be nominated in 'best animation') and "Star Guitar", which is of a train ride, where everything going past the window is in time to the music.
