From 10 through to 7 on Tokyo reverse.

9 is particularly great. Is it flat? Sometimes, but a breathe off the throttle is usually required. 7 is faster than you think if you turn in early enough and miss the wall on the outside. Misjudge the entry and the kerb beckons...

The hammerhead, follow through, and tire wall.

Also the consecutive corners after the first two at Suzuka

I love going flat out past the tire wall. There's a nice sense of speed. I've screwed up a few times in the last corner of the top gear track while doing the Top Gear Special Event.

The section of the 'Ring from Carousel to Mini Carousel... just has a perfect flow to it.

T1 at Suzuka... the Esses, Dunlop, Degner 1 & 2... lovely.

All of Deep Forest too... another track with a perfect flow to it... no bad corners at all.

Flugplatz, Schwedenkreutz, Bergwerk, and Angstkurve on the Nordschleife.
1, 2, and 4 are very fast corners that are almost "flat out". Bergwerk, because i always get good exit speed for the uphill.

To get a fast lap it's all about the exit speed of corners. Slow in, fast out....

Is it possible to do turns 1, 2 and 4 flat out?

There are NO good corners!...well maybe the high speed banks at Daytona and the High speed ring.:sly:

Seriously though I love trying to nail that little side slip thing on the Rome course. Not sure that really counts as a corner but finding the perfect line to shift your car 10-15 feet to the left without losing serious speed is a blast for me. Also even though I named it one of the worst corners in the game, getting a perfect 4 wheel drift over the hilltop and accelerating on through the 4/5 corner on the Supercar Eifel race is a huge rush.

P.S. your welcome Ferrari_1996

I was lucky enough to get a mini au-rouge on the course creator on my old user, but cos of an RLOD I cant get it back :( was so epic though!

I love the section starting from Quiddelbarchem to Adenauer forst going downhill - uphill over and over with a fast car, just exiting. I like to the fast "S" corners between the first and second hairpin from Grand Valley Speedway.
Favorite track, Grand Valley Speedway definitely.

Fuji...coca cola corner (I believe that's the one anyway?) the drawn out corner...not usually that nice but in a formula car so fast and sweeping.

Curva grande at monza too (the curve after the first chicane)

I remember this from Grand Prix Legends. It was a 4 wheel drift corner in the 1967 F1 cars and if done right was very rewarding.

The Chicane kinda put and end to it :D Now it's flat out from the chicane and all the way around the corner and into the next chicane.

I don't really have a favorite yet in GT 5. I haven't much time to just play the game and enjoy it. I have worked my way through a-spec level 32 over 6 months when time permits. I spent 10 years playing GPL so most of the courses stand out with those cars even today.

Coca-Cola corner!? Which one is that? And why is it called the Coca-Cola corner?

Fave track in GT5
Nurburgring Nordschleife...all corners after the karussell

Fave all time GT track
Trial Mountain...all corners!
I usually test all my new cars here.

We have a thread on Top Gear. This thread is about corners. 💡

Yes but the Top Gear Test Track has corners....
Yes, but the bits I've bolded do not belong in this thread.

all of top gear corners and who saw top gear yesterday??

Top Gear came on yesterday? Was it a new episode? And what channel?

OT: What's your favourite Top Gear corner?

That's 4 questions to answer...
GTP is not a chat room. Threads have to stay on topic and this thread is about corners, not when a TV show is on and who watched it. 💡

Trial Mountain is my favourite track and love every corner on it, my favourite corner is the long sweeper into the first tunnel. Also the blind corner between the two tunnels. Both of those corners are sublime.

Love the chicaney bit after the first corner on Autumn Ring reverse too 👍
