Best Gr.4 cars

I know it's not very competitive, but I love the Caymen Gr4. It really suits my driving style and handles like a dream. I wouldn't dare use it on Monza or another track that requires more power, but I've had pretty good luck it it on Blue Moon Infield A in the past. It can make up its lack of straight line speed with its handling. I tend to use it more than any other Gr4 car anymore. Otherwise, I use the Corvette because I'm a Chevy guy and I live in 'Murica

I want to make each day a different gr.4 car just to have a feel. I'm having a blast with all 4WD, now i'm switching to FF.
Gr.4 seems to be more of a comfortable cruising

The new Gr.4 Megane Trophy is going to be a hard car to beat. I know a few people who shattered previous records with other Gr.4 cars on their first lap with this thing.

Best car in the game for me, great cockpit view, handles exactly how an MR should and just great fun to really push the limits out of it.

Easily into the 2.07s yesterday at Suzuka for me in this.

It feels like it doesn't belong in GR4.

Yeah the cockpit view is one of the best in the game. Nobody should have an issue driving from this view in this car.

It feels like it doesn't belong in GR4.

They reduced the power to 87% for Gr.4 so I have No Doubt it belongs more in Gr.3 but it would probably dominate that class too.

Although power wise the Mégane is a bit out of place in GR4, I think the handling and the car itself actually suits GR4 better

Yeah, it's probably getting nerfed with the next update. Based on history, Meganes ruin Gr. 4 for a month or so before sanity is restored. At least it's not combined with the grip bug like last time.

If you would play in a
championship in gr4 category, with BoP on, what car would you choose? Which is the best gr4 all-around car in your opinion? (no tuning, no tyre wear, no fuel depletion, BoP on)

One of the British Bulldogs. Vantage or F-Type.

Differs from track to track.

The Audi TT, Normal Megan, Megan Trophy, Alfa 4C and Lancer have all been the meta cars on certain tracks at certain times.

For all round use like you describe, I personally would go with the Audi TT. It goes well in a straight line and handles nicely, but most importantly, I have designed a cool livery for it!

My favorite all-rounder car in Gr4 is the Lambo Huracan, no doubt. Good in both corners and straightline, has great traction out of corners thanks to being 4x4, also for being 4x4 has decent tyre wear and not so much biased to the front.

Depends on the tracks but with no tyre wear I'd probably chose the Mazda, if wear then no chance.

RCZ is very fast in a straight line so difficult to pass if you prefer that route and again with no wear there is no problems picking this car which otherwise is useless.

There will be almost all tracks in that championship and I must choose one gr4 car only, for the entire season, that's why I'm asking for a decent all-around one, I don't have much experience.

Try the Lexus, Lambo, Mazda, Mustang and maybe even the RCZ, all quite different to drive and have their own strengths and weaknesses but all should be pretty fast. Using a car that suits you is probably your best bet.

Don't use the 4C, Trophy or Toyota, they are specialist cars for certain tracks but will get eaten alive at power tracks. The Ferrari and McLaren, whilst great to drive, lack raw pace so again best to use something else. The Veyron is also useless at some tracks, so avoid that too. The Viper and GT by Citroen are also crap unless something has changed recently, so avoid those as well.

Its very track dependent as everyone has said. If the series races on a lot of small tracks with less long straights, I'd go with the supreme downforce on the Megan Trophy car. If it is mixed with fast and slow tracks, I like the Lambo, NSX, and Porsche. The TT is a good FWD alternative, but I hate FWD so I stay away from them.
  • The Lambo is probably the best all arounder, fast and handles well, but its not agile. AWD is a god-send, especially if the league has standing starts. But may get nerfed in future BOP updates.
  • The NSX is a good all around car, handles well (slightly more agile than the Lambo), but is only moderately fast on the straights (mid pack). It also lacks the ability mash the throttle carelessly like the Lambo's AWD allows. But its unlikely to be nerfed in BOP.
  • The Porsche is another all around car that won't be fastest anywhere, but should be OK everywhere. It shines in agility. As far as BOP, I feel like it could go either way better or worse.

Thank you very much to all of you, guys, I really appreciate the answers!
Please let me show you a part of championship rules and regulations and these are the accepted cars for gr4 category!
Thanks!

Last week tried Bathurst with my two usual cars, the Cayman and the Lancer, very similar times but much more consistent with the AWD Lancer.

Just out of curiosity tried for the first time the Megane I had in my garage for months from a Daily Workout prize, at the second lap shaved 2 seconds to my previous best. Just unreal, a FWD car being so much fast and consistent
