Sorry to bring this thread back from death but...
After nearly 130 hours of playing in San Andreas...I decided to make a little ''write up'' cuz' I'm so bored to death :]

I think VC was awsome. I loved that 80's feeling and especially the radio stations, the mafia style and the missions. But I got bored of it, fast, because I thought VC was too small. Nice environment but small. Even if I've only played 35 hours in VC, I loved it. Great gameplay, just unforgetable (=sp?).

Now, San Andreas....I think that it's the best GTA game ever made. Huge and nice environment and the cities are big enough. The radio stations are great but not good as VC's. Maybe too much gangsta style but it's OK. A hell lots of things to do (187 things if I'm right), and yet, I haven't tried or seen or discovered everything. I still found new things to do. There's always something to do. You can nearly never get bored of it (imo), San Andreas is so freackin' huge, I love it! Greatest game ever! (imo, that is) 👍

For me, Vice City had so much more replay value. With San Andreas I find myself debating whether or not I should bother to turn it on because it just doesn’t have that fun feel to it for me.

I agree with Cosmic.
VC`s 80`s atmosphere & feel are awesome, much better than SA. Before SA came out, VC was my all-time favorite game, and I`d still be playing it if not for SA.

But SA is so much bigger with lots more to do, so it wins over VC for me. The best-case scenario would be to have VC the same size as SA, with the same amount of things to do. 👍

I hope GTA4 is as much fun as those two are!

sa would be better if you could buy other random companies like in vc you could buy the taxis and paper printers and you had to missions to earn money of them i used to love doing this but other than this sa wins 👍
