I need help. I can't figure out how to do the advance level rally special event. I am currently using the lancia delta s4... What is a better car? Also, what should I do for tuning?? Please help me

Best rally car is the Lancer Evolution Super Rally car (its standard).
As for tuning, well it won't really make that much of a difference.
Just turn off all your aids and set abs to 1

Try the RM'd scooby then fully tune it goes very well on or off road. I think its the '05 model in the NCD.

This, with its active yaw control its basically point and go on any surface. It is a bit hard to come by though so you might want to try your luck in the marketplace.

Loony car, but not the easiest to drive! Consider more modern WRC cars that you can get from dealerships. They are easier to drive, so even without the raw power of Group B you might make better progress.

Examples, Citroen C4, Focus, Mitsu Evos, and Subarus of course.

I have the Citroën c4 as well, but it just doesn't have the acceleration out of the corners on dirt and snow

Fair enough. I can't remember if I've tackled the advanced ones yet - so can't speak with any authority! How's your technique? Are you carrying enough speed through the corners without too much drifting?

I was referring to the S4 as the loony car in previous post by the way, the Super Evo is the killer rally car.

One of my favourite rally cars is the CZ3 Tarmac car - it's a Mitsu Colt and has higher PP than the modern WRCs, but it's also standard and you have to get it in the UCD (or check the Marketplace). I definitely did some of the events in this, just can't remember which ones.

Good luck:tup:

Im really into my Peugeot 206 its a really well rounded car in the handling area and the fact its "easy" to handle , all the hatchback's seem to handle well.

Group B rally cars and WRC cars seem to be the general opinion here, and a good one at that. If you want a cheaper option, consider buying a used lancer evo or subaru impreza (04 models were the peak cars in terms of handling in the eyes of many). If you have the dlc the new vw golf is also a fun one to try, albeit will require tuning. As far as premiums go, the 07 impreza and the RM'able 05 RA STi are very good options, but id advise staying away from the RM addition if you use cockpit view, as the gran turismo banner will take away from it. Another excellent premium option is the Lancer Evo X, as it has nothing but pure grip and will set very fast times. Despite this, it has massive understeer, so a slight toe out setting on your front tires and a camber angle emphasized on your rear wheels will eliminate much of this. Engine and turbo settings may be increased if you find that suitable. I would advise against the 2011 STi however, as even though it will manage itself on gravel and snow, it is much slower on such roads than earlier models. As well as this, general ideas to consider are being calm and steady/smooth through turns instead of pounding through turns redlining your car like i see so often online. In that case, a nissan gtr with max upgrades might as well be your best bet (IIRC the rally events do allow for the gtr). If you can manage to find the 03 Impreza and Lancer rally models, I would suggest those two rides the most, as they have the most raw power of todays modern rally cars. Have fun on the roads and enjoy setting quick times! :)

I agree. The GDB premium RM is a beast. The car handles perfectly and has spectacular brakes.

If you're trying to beat the single player rally modes, disabling TCS and ENABLING skid assist will annihilate the AI on dirt and snow.

OTher than that, any rally car other than the Renault 5 and i'd also assume the Lancia Stratos (since they're MR) will pretty much do the trick
