I belive the Jay Leno Tank Car and the Dodge Ram are the biggest cars in gt5. The smallest is the midget, or one of the awful K cars.
What is the biggest, and smallest car? And what car is the lowest? The Ford GT40? or one of them lambos, or that ugly dome zero concept....

I'm pretty sure you are spot on with biggest and smallest. Although lowest might be hard to get right because there is no official measurement for ride height.

Tank car is the heaviest car in the game. The Land Rover Range Stormer is the second heaviest car.

The smallest would be one of the karts. The lowest would need to be the 2J or X2010 variants - they're ground effect cars...

Hehe, true. But I hardly wanna go as far as calling a kart for a car. :)

Now that would be awesome instead of driving cars to work everyone drives karts imagine the carnage thousands of karts on a motorway.

When did a 29 litre hotrod qualify as one? Or any of the non-road-legal racers?

They're in GT5. They're cars. They have the smallest dimensions of the cars.

Never said the Tank Car (<-car?) qualified as a car. :)

Non-road-legal cars like the 787B, Sauber C9 etc is still cars? Well, race cars.
But as GT5 is "the real driving simulator", any vehicle is classed as "car" in the game. ;)

Well you can drive karts.

would you say the ariel atom is not a car? Its closer to a kart than any other vehicle.

Karts are just cars without the panels.

No, but I did and you didn't object to that - or the 2J, or the X2010.

Incidentally the "Jay Leno Tank Car" is called "The Blastolene Special", built by Randy Grubb. One assumes licensing the name was harder than saying what it is and who it's owned by.

Thus the karts are cars. So why did you object?

Because OP asked for lowest car, and I thought kart was wrong to that question.

Really?

Im sorry, when did karts qualify as cars?

Nothing about lowest in there - and your objection was that karts don't qualify as cars. Now you say they do.

Surely they'd also qualify as the lowest, then? Your butt is inches from the tarmac & the highest point is the steering wheel...

Hmm. I'd say lowest would be nearest to the tarmac - so ground effect cars like the 2J and X2010, which use the ground as one of their aerodynamic surfaces - whereas the least overall height would be the shortest. But then shortest could be least long too.

But yes, could be.

Can we define what the OP understands as "biggest"?

From my understanding, this would be volume. Since we cannot calculate that accurately, I would go for length x width x height as the best approximation.

If it meant weight, OP would have said "heaviest", right?

Oh my, are we getting into density computations and flame wars about the legitimacy of karting.

Yes, the karts by far would be the smallest. There's no room for any passengers at all, right? :sly:

So to clarify, one should ask, "what's the smallest & biggest passenger cars?"

Then we can sort out from the x2010 & kart, etc.

I will admit, that's what I was doing anyway. Because I'm a proper car kind of gt5 enthusiast. (ie: I don't bother with race cars & touring cars very much, I'm into road cars. Particularly the older models)

They're in GT5. They're cars.

Yes, I used that argument in favour of racing the Samba Bus or Corsa Comfort... My racing pals haven't been buying it though. :indiff:

Well now, you say that...
