The car itself is beautiful, easily the prettiest car in the BMW lineup at the moment, but that interior looks like a brothel.

Spy shots of the production version, they are from the begin of November....Carscoop

Please don't bring the puns out of the Infield...

Can't wait to see the full production version though, especially in M-Sport trim.

We already know the M4 will be the most tacticool car ever.

How long before BMW +1 all their model names to match Audi.

The new naming strategy's been on the cards for quite some time, I believe BMW were due to start it with the E9x generation - hence the E92/93 did not share the face of the E90/91 - I guess BMW bottled it at the time.

Odd numbers for saloons, tourers, hatchbacks and GT models, even numbers for coupes (2dr and 4dr), and convertibles. Same with the X range (the even numbers will be for the sloping roof models such as the X6 and forth-coming X4)... although if rumours are true the future line-up of the Z models will revert to odd numbers, as per Z1 and Z3.

Looks great. Surprised to see the cup holders are where near everyone else places them still instead of on the passenger side like in mine.

Hmm, hope they don't seem as close to the shifter as the photo's show them. I remember driving a car having the cup holders directly in front of the shifter. Every time I shifted into 1st, 3rd or 5th I'd ended up slightly punching whatever was in the cup holders. Not fun when you have a large full coffee cup. Could be worse, whoever designed the cup holder in my Camaro didn't take into account that you're whole elbow is in the cup holder when you're shifting.... I much prefer the cup holder beside the shifter like they are in my Corvette, your hand doesn't go anywhere near whatever is in the cup holders!

Can't say I've ever had a discussion over cup holder placement before haha.
