Yes I think it might be. So I would put it into a spoiler warning around it to be safe.

I completed a couple main missions last night that were just epic. But they contain massive spoilers. Now my highest character is level 27. My next upgrade for the turret is a bubble shield similar to the bubble shield in Halo.

There are 101 side/optional missions That does include both Bandit and Hyperion domes.

Edit: Has PT2 also reset the black market? since I find it pointless to carry 27 items. Don't really care about ammo/bank so much but backpack I do.

I would've guessed about nine higher than that.

So I just got to that guy who has that gun that Dr. Zed wants, he is apparently unkillable right now. I can get his shields down but he has a ridiculous amount of health and a shield. He also has homing transfusion grenades which seem to cause a secondary explosion at random! Right now my shield is around 6,500, my health is 10,500. Decepti0n does basically nothing to him (but one hit kills most unshielded bandits at my level (38)), he resists corrosive damage and yeah, I can't see how I'm going to kill him right now which is a shame because I want the gun he's got now rather than when it's useless. Of course, being Borderlands all I have to do is wait to level up once or twice and go back and he'll be too easy.

We can't help it. I probably will be starting pt2 today. Just got a few missions to go unless I find more side/optional missions. Just got 5 for hyperion slaughter and the radio tower and I think I got something in the annex (don't exactly know).

Also just to note that you need 540 to max out ammo, bank, backpack but it still didn't say if you can gain more in pt2.

Oh yeah, you can't, at least I can't, I haven't maxed everything yet though.

Well that sucks. Only 27 for a backpack is small compared to 1. Still with all that eridium after you max everything just sits there.

Edit: Reason why I asked is that Im only 60 eridium from maxing out all my ammo, then whats left is the bank...

Edit 2: I am now only 40 from max ammo, but still got stuff on the whole bank deal.

Edit 3: I hit Eridium jackpot and maxed out all ammo, now just the bank slots is left, and I am still on first playthrough.

Some hints have apparently been dropped that alternate uses for Eridium may be added in the DLC, but given the nature of Borderlands there is absolutely no way of guessing what those uses could be. Upgrading gear, unlocking special areas or chests, summoning a huge Claptrap... Could be anything. If it happens, that is. There is a bit of untapped potential in BL2, the Shift thing is one that I can see developing into something really cool (by the way, there's more codes coming this weekend) and there surely must be plans for extended banks and inventories. Then again the rate at which loot improves means you're unlikely to keep or use anything more than 3, maybe up to 5 (at a push) levels below your own. That'll be a problem when you hit the level cap, though.

I thought we were supposed to be getting an infinite bank, anyway...

I dont know, they said that as long as you have eridium and the black market you can upgrade all you want, guess that didn't happen.
Since Im maxed out on ammo and backpack then the only thing left is bank which in a way useless. I'd rather have more storage in backpack then the bank anyways (Less trips to the machine to sell)

I can't wait till Sunday. I have been working a lot, and made the Mistake of preordering at a mall about a 2 hour drive from me. Really want to play this one. Meanwhile, I made a new siren, and I'm leveling her up on BL1 by helping out random people. It's fun being the guy who saves the day. It just sucks that everyone online above lv 40 uses a modded shield. When I play on my main account, a hunter, I don't even use shields now for the rush.

I like the idea of opening up the use of Eridium more. I don't really care for how it's used to unlock capacity right now anyway. It would be cool if it could be used like, 10 or 20 at a time, as a temporary skill point boost. So if you "buy" a skill point boost, you can apply it at anytime to use for something like ten minutes, and they'd be stackable.

I am sure they will have something in future DLC that will require the use of Eridium. Its quite easy to max everything out if you get lucky on the slot machine. So this leaves extra eridum that does nothing and cant even be traded with other characters. So they will do something with this in the DLC almost guaranteed.

Edit: Got the 2nd dome done with their missions finally after a quick restart.

Got 1 more dome and I think that would be all of the side missions.

Keys were good at 6:59 pm CT, dont know if they are still good or not, but I just got the last dome to go and I think I did all the side/optional missions I think, but I am going to check all the places to see if there is an ! around.

Edit: Just thought of this when I saw it on another forum. I would suggest saving one key after the DLC, if they increase the level cap then you get better rewards.

Ah, that's one of the coolest parts of the game. Now it feels like you're going from one biome to another. There's Dust, which is the desert area, then Three horns, which is all Hothed out in snow, then that one place I forgot the name of, but it's more like... just nice almost Chinese steppe? There's a few other really interesting locales, nice huge caves, toxic dumps, sewers, lots of bigger open dungeons, and Sanctuary itself (the main city) is quite a lot more of a city than New Haven was. Really cool all the way around.

So I got bored and used one of my gold keys... I got two grenade mods for my trouble. They were:

Both worth $8,039. Kind of crap, I was hoping for some awesome guns, but these are pretty good as far as grenade mods go. I'm willing to put money on my next three keys containing class mods, shields and more grenade mods and no guns!

I got guns when I opened up mine but they were less than appealing for what I already have.
From what other people are saying is that you only get level purple or lower, Extremely rare to find anything higher.

Just had a strange glitch on a boss battle. Will put in spoiler text just in case its not a bomb shell or anything.

When trying to destroy the bunker to get to the key the bunker acted strange. First its health bar went to zero and it got stuck on the environment. No bots spawned and the bunker didn't fire any weapons. Only way to solve it was to quit out and try again.

Where it drops depends on where you are located and where you shoot the stupid thing.

It's horizontal it's the same on pc
