Well I signed up anyway, linked my Steam and PSN accounts and... Well, there's not much else there, is there? Didn't get a second key though, but oh well. I anticipate I'll be spending a lot of time with this game, it's easily my favourite game of the year already, so anything to get some extra content is fine by me. Early days and all that, maybe it'll develop into a uPlay kind of thing where in-game challenges are rewarded with little bonuses here and there or something.

I think I've run into another glitch. It's a kill quest, right, but the object of the quest was attacking me (I would say I was attacking him/her/it but he/she/it had killed me three times already and it wasn't going well this time either) and I must've moved too close to something and triggered a cutscene. After it finished the object of the quest had disappeared and I can't seem to find him/her/it any more, even after quitting the game and coming back. Then again maybe he/she/it just appears at random, the quest area is quite big, so I can't be sure but I spent about half an hour looking to no avail.

You have to link them in game to get the 2nd key, but since shift is down no one can link them.

Edit: I have been reading on gearbox forum that people are having issues on crashing, and on parts that are common. I got to thinking, Since I haven't crashed yet I wonder if the crashing isn't so much the game itself but something running in the background that is making it crash. Since I only have one or two things running besides steam/game. that is antivirus in game mode and my nvidia settings.

Loving the game. I got so used to not dying in BL1 that it was shocking at first how often I do now. I used my key early because by the time I reach the level cap I'm hoping to have some legendary items, and a purple might not be so good then.

Just reached w4r-d3n and have died lots. I think I need a corrosive weapon but I haven't found one yet (level 12). May need to play the slots.

Fantastic game. Just got to level 10 playing as an Assassin. Humour is top notch.

If you made it to Sanctuary then I would suggest looking for corrosive weapons in the machines then the slots (since most of the time you get nothing worth while as I only found a green), I found a 94 corrosive sniper in the machine, then after going through the Highlands found a 134 corrosive from some of the bots.

How do you unlock the 2 locked spaces in your inventrory? I'm playing co-op with two friends and whilst playing, the game crashed and when i returned they both had an extra weapon wield slot. We have all done the same missions too.

I've tried farming for better weapons but I have no luck. No. Luck. Whatsoever. I find tons of incendiary weapons but they're useless against the w4rd3n. I've got one lvl 8 explosive AR and one lvl 9 shock SMG but everything else, including what's in the vending machines is incendiary.

I even tried farming Big Maw for eridium but in 10 tries I've still only found E on the initial encounter.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but could I have something go my way soon please!?

I know I had some issues but there seems to be a level where you start to gain more elemental weapons, I was level 12 or 13 before I found my first slag weapon. Now I am still going around trying to do side missions before I continue.

Also to add If you want to link Shift and borderlands 2 for another golden key I can confirm that it is working now. I have 2 keys now and I am waiting for level 25 for one and the last one at 50

They are story quest rewards, I can't remember which quests though.

I think I'm getting close to the end, it's kind of hard to tell though. Not much great stuff so far, I've been using skills, class mods and other items to bring out the best in the stuff I've got. One sniper rifle I use often does just over 1000 damage so I use it with an amp shield and a sniper class mod to make it do loads of damage with the first shot, but otherwise I use melee a lot to regenerate health and to whittle enemies down so when the inevitable 'fight for your life' thing happens I just need a couple of hits to get back up. I miss my explosive nova shield, but 700 shields to cover 3000+ health was just crazy, it was as if I didn't even have a shield at all.

I started a second character, commando, and played online with random 3 other people just now. Not sure how much I liked it. It was way to chaotic and we just flew through areas and bosses. It took just over an hour to get to Sanctuary while it took my wife and I probably 4+ hours. It didn't help one guy was level 24 I think while the other 3 of us started at 0 and he was randomly dropping loot for us. I like to play more methodical, clearing areas out and searching for all the loot, where these guys were sprinting everywhere. It was cool to see some of the enemies though. One was a badass dressed as a clown or something. Commando class is pretty cool though. The turret really comes in handy. We decided we are definitely going to buy the season pass and enjoy all the DLC and the game for a long long time. Happy Looting everyone.👍

such as the shield that creates a powerful explosion around you when the shield is depleted and again when your health is depleted, which results in an automatic second wind about 99% of the time, it's great!
This one?

I just got it and it's mint :D Borderline OP though, the way it novas when shields or health depletes, not to mention the damage (as a baseline, my 547 damage non-elemental sniper crits for ~2300) and radius...!

This one?

Yep, that's the one! It's great but you will get to the point where you're trading almost instant death for almost instant revives, then you have to find something else... It's tough choice.

I just hit level 30, next time I level up I'm going to take the last skill in the Bloodshed tree, the one that lets you do Decepti0n combos... Can't wait for that, should be awesome.

Level 30 already?? Either Im slow and not doing the right missions or this TVH is taking the longest time. but anyways here is a few that should be interesting to watch.
The Review

The multiplayer situation

I have just been loving this game. Currently up to around 55 hours of gameplay between 4 characters all random levels. My highest level character is level 24 and my bad ass rank is around 2,300. Everything about this game is better than Borderlands. Its definetly a LOT more fun with at least 3-4 players in co-op. It produces more enemies, and the enemies are a lot more challenging. Plus way more loot. I have seen some amazing weapons in this game especially once you get over level 20. There are also some enemies that if you shoot their head off they will transform into more advanced enemies and you can find some very rare weapons by doing that. Plus its hilarious watching them run around beating up all the other enemies. Also I think that Tina might be one of the most hilarious characters I have seen in a game.

Oh has anyone found the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles easter egg? We were doing a mission and thought this seems a lot like Ninja Turtles. And sure enough we started putting some of the puzzle pieces together and it truly was a very well hidden easter egg. Pizza boxes, 4 enemies with same names, in a sewer, and there is more but I wont spoil it.

There was also another hidden easter egg we found about the "Double Rainbow" video on youtube. If you dont know what this is, look it up.

I just reached level 31, Many Must Fall (the skill I was talking about) is amazing! In fairness I am just mopping up trivial quests at the moment so I'm fighting stuff four levels lower than me but it's just so much fun comboing from one to the next. You don't get a full refill of time, though, I'm not sure how it works exactly, so you have to get right into a group of enemies to keep it going. Also you have to bear in mind that your decoy is re-placed every time you get a kill so you have to be careful to not get shot thinking the enemies will be facing the original decoy.

Also, I'm playing solo and I'm having quite a lot of fun as it is. I will do co-op eventually but not yet, I'm thinking when this PT is finished I'll start again with Maya and do co-op as much as possible.

The best part about the co-op is how you can stack upgrades for the other players. I have a class mod for my beserker that provides 1.0 ammo per second for the ENTIRE group. Without this mod, its very easy to run out of ammo in Borderlands 2. So this is a very very helpful mod. For my other character I have a mod that provides 28% more to the armor for the ENTIRE team. So if you get a couple of these mods on each of the characters , the team bonuses can make a massive difference.

So if you are enjoying this solo, its much more fun as a team. Especially if you play with other people around your level. Then you can constantly swap weapons, class mods, and much more together within the group. This game truly shines with at least 3-4 players. 👍

Turns out it adds one second to your countdown for every kill you get, I had some fun with a bunch of Varkids and ended up with 8 seconds to waste once they'd all died.

I'm level 33 now, seems like it's winding up for a big finish. Haven't really got any decent stuff so I'm now going to look up some places to farm, I definitely need a better shield.

Thats because you are playing solo. They confirmed that the more players you play with, the better loot you get. I have more insane weapons than I know what to do with. Seems like every few minutes I find another gun that 1 ups my previous favorite gun.

Yeah, I know about that, and early on in the game I was jumping from one awesome gun or shield to another. Now, even though I'm finding appropriately levelled loot, I'm finding absolutely nothing useful. My shield (and health, for that matter) is like paper, I recorded a quick video which sums it all up perfectly but I haven't uploaded it yet.

While yes the coop is better but then again you have those people who want it more than anyone else. It should be who kills it gets the loot

Are you checking all the health machines too? Some amazing shields in there and almost all of those level up with you. Or at least the ones at Sanctuary do for sure.

I disagree. What if you battle a boss enemy for 30 minutes and you do 99% of the damage and some one else shoots the last bullet and gets the kill. That would suck. To resolve the issue you need to play with friends or people that truly communicate. This game is built 100% around co-op. So if you dont have friends to play with then find some on this site. I am sure many would have no problem adding you as a friend. If you play with people that steal loot, dont play with them.

When I play with people we kill the enemies then leave the loot. Once the area is cleared, we examine the loot to see who wants what.

I tend to establish, or did in the first Borderlands, who wants which weapons. It was easier then as each character had their proficiencies, now anyone can use anything so it's harder to decide. Even back then that system went out of the window as soon as an orange or purple was dropped!

And no, I haven't been checking health machines, I never did in the first game... I think I'll have to do that but I was kind of hoping I'd get some better stuff in a random drop.

Oh dang you have been missing out! Yes make sure you check the health machines. In fact those health machines are how all of my team mates have found epic shields. ALWAYS check all the machines. Some have amazing weapons, some have amazing grenade mods, relics, and everything else you can imagine. Dont just look at the item of the day because there have been many times the other items are a lot better. I found a 770 shield for my level 15 character yesterday. That shield with my shield mod puts it to around 845. Always check the machines. :)

I'll be picking this up on Thursday. I'll be needing co-op partners too, as I'll be renewing my Gold on Thursday too. Feel free to add me if you're interested.

I think I got like 3 orange and all 3 are in the bank since well yea.
Just wondering has anyone do the "domes" optional missions?

Domes? Was that the preorder bonus that we didn't get here?

I just had quite a long co-op game with Beefski (I think he is a member here but he never actually posted anything, but he's a real life friend of mine) and Omnis, didn't really notice a huge improvement in loot to be honest, I suppose the gear was better though because the combat was just as difficult/easy with three people (and therefore tougher enemies) as it was just playing solo but I didn't really notice.

I did notice, however, that in the quest that introduces E-Tech weapons, Dr. Zed mentions some of the different types you can get but I've only seen pistols, the assault rifle you get as a quest weapon in it and a pretty awesome sniper rifle I've got, I don't think I've seen any E-Tech shotguns, SMGs or launchers, but maybe I have and just didn't notice. Then again, that light purple colour they always drop in would catch my eye.

There are some side quests ones I believe, Called Bandit Slaughter Round 1-5 and I think the other one is Hyperion Slaughter Round 1-5 in the Annex in the Wildlife area.
