    Lap Time results
    In continuing to hot lap all tunes in my garage, I came to 600pp. Feeling Wallkill Valley (although I enjoy the track) might be too short or tight to get the most out of these cars, I switched to another favorite, Midfield. In terms of length and driving style, these tracks are quite similar yet different. So the following is a list at 600pp, TC=0, ABS=1, 4 laps to glory list. Many could have gone faster with more laps, but went for consistency.

    Well, I have to say that I've been enjoying this "school" of Stingrays! I have run amuck in the London seasonal like a werewolf on the prowl. All the 550PP and below Vettes are overkill here, but still a lot of fun. Other favorite feeding grounds for this school of Rays are the Tour of America, Tuned Car Festival, and Midnight Racers. All of them are keepers in my book. Only the S-Tune gave me any trouble, and that was due the open differential. I guess I've become spoiled using tuned LSD's.

    So we are now heading down the home stretch, getting close to the finish line of GT6. I personally have enjoyed this version far more than most of the others, likely played only the original as many hours. And unlike GT5, where I had moved on to GT6 before the servers shut down, I am still playing GT6 and finding ways to enjoy :).

    Even without online connection, there is so much that can be done IF you decide you want to. As for me, Arcade Mode Time Trial is where most of my time has been spent for the last 2 years anyway. It's where I compare tunes, build and update tunes. And for the foreseeable future, where I will continue to spend my time (as well as Arcade Single Race, where you can race on tracks with cars you want at pp levels PD did not give us another option. How I wish we had the ability to set up our own Chamionship Series with tracks of our choosing:(), but now I make sure to ENTER the settings screen to get the mileage to count :banghead:. (Thousands of miles, hundreds of wins have not counted because I exited without going to that screen. On the other hand, kept cars from piling on mileage :dopey:).

    Anyway, I was inspired by a Seasonal event earlier this year, Muscle Cars at Trial Mountain @550pp. I prefer this pp level on SS tires but found it addicting on SH and tried just about every Corvette and Camaro in this event. Even 525 and 500pp cars, and found the lap times were for the most part consistent. So, I decided to do another Time Trial list to add to my collection. American cars only, 500pp, 525pp and working on 550pp. I may continue to 575, but not sure yet.

    So I will be listing the lap times that are completed, most of the tunes are in my tunes list, but not all as I have built quite a few new ones. They were all tested on SH tires in Arcade Mode, grip set to real, ABS 1, TC 0. I then took the top 10cars from 500 and 525 and re-ran on SS tires.

    You will notice several cars listed as "Street Version", these cars were built to be close to realistic. They have factory camber and tie settings, and the other suspension settings are set to be close to factory (atleast I think so;)). Most trans settings are simply installing FC trans and not adjusting, some have twin-plate clutch instead of triple just to be different.
    If you are interested in any of these, or any other tune (as many have been updated) just ask. I am considering posting many of them, but not sure if there is even any more interest as most have moved on.

    Hey Bowtie,
    I hope that you do post more tunes. I would enjoy trying them out. I plan to continue playing GT6, mostly in Arcade mode like you. I think I have finally earned enough GT credits, something in the 2 billion range. It's enough to have purchased ten each of the 10, 15, and 20 million credit cars. If I was younger I could call it a mispent youth. Now I would like to just enjoy the drive..

    Don't think I have earned quite that much, but enough to have a 15mil and 20mil for investment purposes, plus every other just to have in my garage. I have recently cleared out my garage and stockyard, going from just over 800 cars down to 475 or so. And several of those are investments or duplicates. I have all the cars I really want (and that includes 1 car for almost every different corvette, 24 C7s) and some that I just keep just in case.

    I will try and slowly post some, but I do have to warn you. They all wear a Bowtie. Some are surprising, as you can see from the lap times above. The 06 Z06 is just a beast with any tune.

    GT6 lives on still, went to the GT Allstars Championship with a C7 at 587pp (my Z06 Version) and easily,won all 5 races. Then I tried 2 tracks with a 550pp tune (event allows 650pp on RH) and again, easy wins, even on HSR after getting turned around on lap 1.
    Need more of a challenge, so wondered if a 525pp C7 could take them down on High Speed Ring, yup!
    Surely 500pp would struggle right? Well, took the lead through the S turn section and lost it in the tunnel, regained in the final corner and sprinted to the line. The MP4-12C was fast and tried to pass on the inside, I gave him room but did move up a little. Beat him to,the line by 0.004. I ran the race clean, no beating, banging or pushing AI out of my way. Clean passes.

    If you would like to take the challenge, use the tune several posts up, just switch to RH tires. Its good fun and challenging.

    Tried Grand Valley race and again by 0.042 for the win. Game can be what you want it to be if you try. With or without servers.

    I couldn't agree more:cheers:There is, in my humble opinion a whole load of fun still to be had within this game. Challenges can be had from anything you want and I for one will not be giving this up anytime soon. As for your tunes, they always have been and still are a big part of my garage even although I now dabble in tuning.......it is fun to see if I can make a tune that can compare to yours or another established tuner with my average driving style:lol:........just a different challenge that happens to suit me........and I am sure many others could find different challenges to suit them personally without jumping over to GT Sport. May you have many many more happy hours within this wonderful game.

    I noticed you have been posting many tunes in the database. Always more rewarding to tune your own, make them how you want.
    I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, I still enjoy this game. Probably more than any other GT in terms of time spent playing. And I can still think of more to do, time to actually do it however, is not always easy to find.
    Keep tuning, keep enjoying. GTS seems to be a love/hate thing, atleast we know we enjoy GT6 :dopey::sly:
