whats happenining guys? is drifting now some sort of fad?? it seems to be considered one, specially in NFSU, "hottest new import from japan"

im enraged, ive been following this thing since 99, and now its getting this "popularity" i just cant wait till i see a drift associated logo on a honda or something, im gonna punch the owner of that car OUT!
 
It has nothing to do with GT3 drifting, obviously.

I'll boycott McDonalds for other reasons. One of them being the quality of the food--terrible.

F.Zamataki: I bet you could run about 11 seconds with a Tiburon if you heavily modified it. And even I can drift with a front-wheel drive car. I understand your disgust, though. Drifting is for Toyota Corollas and Nissan Silvias.

Did anyone else think that guy in the foreground was in a wheelchair at first glance?
 
Yeah!! It's the first thing I've noticed.. but with closer inspection.. well :) It does kinda look like he is in a wheelchair... not good for McD's though ... eat their food, end up in wheelchair :)
 
Uh. I guess Ill boycott Mcdonalds also. Their food is pretty effing disgusting.


I havent eaten KFC in a little over a year, because I got sick as a dog over it.

But seriously... it's not like drifting is a religion or anything. Besides, I see it on Speed Channel now, sandwiched right between amateur NASCAR events. Isn't that the recognition drifting deserves?

No, I just don't eat **** food.

Fast food to me are establishments like McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Rally's, Taco Bell ... I do not include Sonic, though I suppose I should. Various others go in the list.

I eat at a LOT of sandwhich shops. Subway, Quiznos, Firehouse, McAllisters, Schlotzskies, Goodcents, Jason's ... and several local resturants.

No, it's not a religion, we're just afraid of what stupid Americans will do with drifting.
Grip -> NASCAR
Rally -> Outlaw
Drifting -> ???

Knowing America we will surely decide to re-write all the rules because we can do it better. We'll include front-wheel cars because all the stupid Americans I've ever talked to assume front-wheel cars can drift just because they can slide. Then we'll bring donuts under the umbrella too because that's drifting, right? Then maybe start watering the road down or putting bleach down to make more smoke or make it easier. Remember, the more things we call drifting, the bigger the crowd we can draw right? Americans don't give a damn about preserving a sport, they just want to make money. Want proof? Try reading up on SCCA's latest dealings with the NW Region Rally crew. Or the fact that SpeedVision sold out to NASCAR. And as each thing is added, it drags the rest of the scene down. See how easily things get out of control? If you ask me, America is not welcome to take a piece of drifting, it has no right.

Wow that makes me want a quater pounder with cheese. You know cause some punk ass kid sitting by some craptastic car that might pull a 11 second 1/8 time. God McD's needs to get a real ad going and I might just want to spend some money there.

well u obviously dont drift on roads infested with daily traffic.....thats why theres touge and empty parking lots, and airfields....etc.etc...

well i got it off of a japanse sticker in a drift car soo i donno....im pretty sure its not exactly the right word tho......hmmmmm i know dori is, and so is dorikin, hmm any other words for drift?
