I smashed my arcade stick on the ground once when playing SF IV out of frustration.

made a dent in the case but the stick still worked... I was really surprised... it was thrown pretty hard. :O
Hori makes some tough sticks.

from that lesson, I just walk away now when that moment arises again.

not worth breaking your equipment over.

Snapped one PS2 Controller clean in Half out of Frustration During that Certain "Special Test" on GT4 :ouch:

Twisted another one in Half , I had one Race to Win to Complete Arcade in GT3 on Trial Mountain using the Arcade Cars after 30 odd attempts I was so sick of the Same Goddamm Car Pipping me by 0.2 / 0.23 / 0.12 on the finish line . I finally lost it and just Twisted the controller in Half :grumpy:

Thing is now , just as a Experiement I tried a while later whilst Calm to Twist one in half again and there was no way I could do it

So yer I was having Anger Management Problems

You know that piece of plastic between L1 and L2? Well that's missing from 3 of my 4 controllers....none have broken since I moved my games into my carpeted room.
Carpet is far more controller friendly than tile.
Aside from that:
1 completely broken PS3 controller
2 Xbox Controllers(One I dropped on purpose, but it ended up going straight into a bucket of water that I forgot was there)
2 Mouses(or is it mice?)
1 Chair(It fell backwards when I stood up to go beat my PS3's ass(this was during a time when it constantly lost connection and locked up)
1 PS3(Accidentally dropped it while moving it to get a better connection, I pulled it out without disconnecting the power cable and it hit the floor(it was cutting out so much I was going to get a new one soon anyway)
EDIT: I also broke a TV's Cable port off.......the damn thing wouldn't unscrew so I just yanked the whole damn thing out of the back of the TV....lucky for me it was the cheap 15" Plasma that we rarely use.

I rarely throw my stuff, but I get so pissed sometimes that I end up dropping/ stepping on/ knocking over something.

I broke a Dual Shock 2 in anger due to the special event in GT4 using the 206 rally car round Opera Paris. Getting annoyed thinking about it lol.

I broke a DS3 when i knocked of a shelf and it landed on the analogue stick. It kept drifting round all the time after that. Then i broke it even more when i took it apart trying to fix it!

Nearly broke my cat this morning, after he meowed and made me fail the Red Bull challenge, oh well, I still love Toffee (Cat)...

Makes me wonder why you would have a bucket of water on the floor in the first place.

Nothing from gaming, but my hockey list is fairly impressive:
-3 walls
-2 TV remotes
-an iPod touch
-iPod headphones (unrelated)

There's no way I can top Omnis story, but I did break a tv remote after I missed getting bronze by .002 on the Laguna Seca License Exam on GT2... I threw it at my tv, it hit the screen and the remote was destroyed, the screen is still fine though. :)

I can get really angry when playing, but never broken anything because of that.

I guess I can have the clear mind to kick/punch something that won't break easily (wall, sofa, chair, etc).

But I do shout and swear. A lot.

Not really. I always throw the controller into a sofa/bed/something soft.

^^ I did that once too. As the controller (it was back in PS1 days) bounced back, I caught it mid-air with an amazingly perfect kick that sent it straight to the wall behind the couch, just above the headrest, where it smahed into a surprisingly large number of pieces.

I've rage quit tons of times, but I've never broken gaming stuff while gaming. When I was young, I was an angry kid and I can't believe I never broke a controller then. The only time my gaming stuff's been broken out of rage was from Cod4. My friend and I were playing split screen, and my little brother wanted to join in the fun. I only had 2 controllers, so he was going to play the winner. So my friend won, and my brother went to play against him. I still remember, FFA on Crash. My friend absolutely trounced him, and we were trashtalking and stuff. I chuckled at the final kill count (30-1), and that sent him over the edge. He hurled the sixaxis into the fireplace mantle, and cracked the plastic between R1 and R2, and the left thumbstick sticks now. My mom made him pay for a new one so it's all good.

Interestingly, the only controller I've broken in rage was during Game 2 of the Canadiens-Capitals series last spring. The refs were ridiculous and they cost the game for Montreal. When the capitals scored in OT i through my controller at the floor where it smashed into a million pieces.

"not yet" applies to me, but I still voted no

Yes, 3 PS3 controllers, and my TV remote.

The PS3 ones were just hitting them on walls, on the bars on my bed, and throwing them around.

The TV remote got in my way, and it deserved it....

All the AI's are hackers.

I almost broke my hand punching the wall because of the unfair-as-Sepp-Blatter penalties in GT5.

I got really angry while playing an online match on Modern Warfare 2. My opponents were using grenade launchers and the infamous "Marathon Lightweight Commando + Tactical Knife" combination. I got so mad I wanted to break my controller, only to find out that I'm too weak... I suppose that's a good thing.

Oh I've also smashed lots of goalie sticks in rage after letting in bad goals in hockey.

I always throw controllers in frustration, but I guess I do it in a controlled manner, as I have never broken any.

I may have the award on this thread for most pathetic thing to break because of a game...

A PEN, I couldn't get gold on a license on Tourist Trophy so instead of breaking my only controller (it's not really my only one, but playing a motorbike game with a steering wheel is just weird), I'd throw my pen, and it then leaked all over the my stereo, and stopped it from turning on (but it was broken before that as well, due to my fat cousin (not fat, but big) falling on it)

I usually just swear at the game these days, then after 5 minutes of getting worse due to anger, I leave it for about 10 minutes, try again and get it in the first 3 tries.

I crack one ps2 controller and threw xbox/ps controllers....
However nothing even remotely recent...I think my job teaches me to deal with anger...

Ferrari Challenge's Legendary Mode sevrely crippled my DS3 after it ricocheted into a wall off the garbage bag. It now serves only as my GT5 Photo controller. (can't really move with a DFGT)

A few months of GTA IV also caused my cheap Gamestop controller to be plastered in tape. I still hate the thing though.

I swear a lot at games. Sometimes I just start to slam things. Like tonight, my 100's of failed "Vettel X Challenge" at Monza caused me to slam my DFGT into my knees. Don't try it.

I got Gold after a knee beating.

I smashed an old steering wheel for the ps1 a while back. I couldn't pass a license test on GT1, and decided to throw it at a wall several dozen times in a 5 minute span. The problem was that when I was trying to accelerate with the pedals, the throttle would cut out. After I destroyed the wheel, I found that the connection for the pedals wasn't fully in the slot it was supposed to be in. I cried after that, I thought it was the end of the world  . That is the reason I use the dualshock controller, not a wheel, when playing racing games.
