finally into low 30s, still a few tenths off the pace though, still need my comeback win >.<
Nice one mate, you're on pace with me then. I'm a low to mid 30 myself. There are a few corners which I struggle with though, so I might drop an odd mistake or two just for good measure. Lol

t2->5 gets me, can't get direction change, but it doesn't help I am slipping lots on straight

I was doing alright yesterday but today Im not sure what im doing wrong,
do you guys shift down and brake while turning in?
when im driving it feels like i keep stopping and starting, when i see others do it from replays, their laps "flow" better and aren't very stop start, what do i need to do differently?

break in a straight line then turn in for me also rarely use full break or steering.
ps:just git dumped so am in a frustrated and annoyed mood.

rolo, you think next series will be one make or my like this? Just wondering because I may have to turn in the keys after this Thursday >.< That's a may not certain yet.

Game update, wonder what they broken now......?

Really happy with my car for this race , will be going for the pole and win for race 1 for sure.

Aiming to run all the cars tonight if anyone is planning on a lounge.

Next series will be BTCC-8, so another variety series. I hope you can keep racing!

Other improvements and adjustments

  • The Traction Control System (TCS) which is activated when driving off-track is now used only in sand/gravel pits.
  • (think that's for my info)

Oh no this mean they messed everything up?
  • The strength of the “Real” option for the [Slipstream Strength] parameter within [Race Settings] when creating a room in [Open Lobby], has been weakened.

Real has been weakened? It was feeble enough already. We use 'Weak' remember, not 'Real'.

Adjustments to the Open Lobby

  • From the Member List, it is now possible to see the Performance Points, maximum output and weight of the cars that have joined the room.
This looks decent though.

EDIT - just had a look, that means the slow business of checks looks pretty unnecessary now!

Go to 'Member List' function, press Square a couple of times and voila, data!

I need to find my mojo round this track, so I may have a room open or join one.
That's if the wife not mind.

Would 4 lap races be good.
Or maybe 6 lap with one pit stop.

Not sure pit lane needs learning, Think true got the pit block worked out

I was going more for getting some timed laps done too as I usually do, but yeah if there's time for a little bit of racing. Pits would be good to assess the lag.

I'm trying to do a practice today. Cars for BTCC-8? Same as other seasons? Is because I just debuted on BTCC just this season.

I'll reveal more about that in the next two weeks or so.

OK. I want to say that I did NOT participate on previous seasons because in that time, I wasn't registred on GTPlanet yet. But I'm trying to keep an eye on it by participating the rest of the seasons. :sly::)👍 Anyways, who's the champion of this season?

Well yeah, I know that.

Season hasn't finished yet, championship is between 5 drivers with three rounds to go.

But I'm NOT of them. I didn't score points yet. To score points, I need to finish on top 6, right?

No, you're 23rd with 0 points.

If there's a need for a Pre-Qualifying race, then you must finish in the Top 6 to qualify.

If there's no need for a Pre-Qualifying race, then you'll be entered automatically into the two main races where points are awarded down to 15th place.

In this case, If I don't do Pre-Qualify, then I can enter the 2ND Race, right?

If you don't do qualifying then you don't qualify. If we don't get enough drivers to have a qualifying session then nobody has to qualify, everyone goes through automatically.

FFS is this really necessary?

👍

👍
If I don't qualify, then I'm eliminated and acess to race 2 is revoked :nervous:!

Yes. But as I say, qualifying might not be needed, it depends how many drivers turn up next week.
Then it's better to do an Pre-Q than having to be locked at 7h 30.

I'd like to help you out. How did you get in? :sly:
I registred for Spa, but I withdrew after Brands Hatch. But yesterday, I decided to return to BTCC. So that's why I wonder if is better to be locked at 7h 30 or doing the Pre-Q.
