I got gold in it it's tough but if you don't crash and boost all the way a gold should be yours. Theres two indy/F1 type cars, one is the US racer which you get to try first, the other is the world racer which you get for golds on everything which I can only presume will be even quicker still.

That Indy car is fast as hell man. Its hard to get gold with that thing. I got Silver though. Yay! :)

it took me 5 or 6 tries but I finally got gold on it last night :D. I found two stretches where I managed to empty my boost guage - that allowed me to get gold by a half a second
 
I never emptied my boost, I make sure I'm keeping it going all the time.
 
I find that it's fast do drift through a corner and boost upon exit. I kept this rhythm during a race and I won by ten seconds! It works because the drift-boost-drift-boost pattern keeps your boost meter charged, and your almost always driving at top speed that way. Try it! ;)
 
Damn, I've just done the timed lap in the Hot rod car, thats the hardest I've had to do so far. I'm doing a load of crash junctions now, I've had some pretty impressive scores.
 
Best Part of this game is it's online value. It brings me back to the PGR2 days. It's even more fun when you get a group of friends and go online.

The only flaws i see in this game are the following:

Soundtrack, i think sux. Thank god for custom soundtrack with the Xbox.

Locking up. This mother ****er has locked up on me 3 times. WTF, if i'm gonna dish out $50, this game better be pretty damn flawless.

EA Servers. This i think can be fixed and i hope it gets fixed. I've been kicked out of rooms cause of "unable to update ranking" or i've had times where i was the host and i couldn't start the game even though everyone was ready(but i did figure out how to fix this glitch)

Other then that, the game play is ****in' awesome! I plan on renting the PS2 version to try out NFSU2. 👍

That is also my favorite. The most I have had in 1 race was over 40 but now I am lucky to get 20. I think my record was 42 or somewhere around there. I will have to check this to verify it.
 
We gotta plan a GTP Online meet! How about Friday afternoon - roughly around 4 or 5pm easter time maybe?
 
I went home tonight to make sure I had proof of my 46 takedowns. Here is a screenshot of 46 takedowns in 1 race. If I hadnt totaled my car I would have had more. :)
Some quick stats of mine.
46 takedowns
longest oncoming 4,369 ft
longest drift 997 ft
crash record in 1 crash event 1,715,288 at "Hate to be Late"

Some good stat there, I'll post some of mine tomorrow, you beat me on the takedowns, do you know which race it was in? I have a bigger crash which is in the 1,550,000's but it's close.
 
Played for 5 minutes and here is my new record for "hate to be late"
1,715,288 This will be easy to beat if I try longer.
Edit: Beat the old one again and updated it.

Yes it does. Maybe it´s just the PAL version that has it, but a lot of XBOX owners said that the game came with the demo. I´ll check tomorrow with my friend, he has the game on XBOX.


And now I´m online with Burnout 3 too!Hope I find you guys online to race sometime. And I just got SRS also, so this should keep me buzzy until Toca 2´s release.

On the PS2 version the demo is in the Extras, togheter with the unlocked car´s videos. Check there if you haven´t already. ;)

My best crash score ever was 2,021,xxx something.. It was pretty awesome. :)

I still havent beaten the game, and i havent played it in maybe 3 or 4 days.. If not more... IM not bored of it, i just dont have the urge to play it ATM..

Starting to get excited because of GTA: SA as well :D

Now I have to try to beat the 2,021,000 that Acid X said he got. That will be a decent challenge. Mabey I will try tonight or tomorrow night. Did you get that at "hate to be late"?
I haven't beat the game either. I screw around too much in crash mode and road rage mode. I guess I could start playing the main part of the game again but im just having sooo much fun. 👍
 
Theres one I did and I got 1,4xx,xxx but I missed the x4 and only got the x2, i'll try to find which junction it was and let you know cos theres some seriouse crashes to be had there, it's on a country lane in Europe I think.
 
I hate that hot rod, its so ugly. :crazy: :yuck:

Anyways, got the Super Dominator. That thing is fast, and the road rages just keep getting faster and better. The courses are getting longer. Anyways, I have to return my game soon. 👎

damn....64%.....then that means I've barely scratched the surface of this game....:lol:

Had to return it to blockbuster so I only go so far as to the coupe grand prix
 
I've got a load of crash events left and one GP, but I've a good feeling once this is completed there will be one final one, I've just done a 4 race GP in the US racers (F1 tyoe cars) and now I've got one to do in the Euro racer (like a Porsche 917 racer) and after that I bet theres one final one in the world racers (faster F1 type cars) even though this is meant to be the last race cup.

I've done that many times, you have to be extra careful in the US racer GP when the AI rams you cos thoes US racers just go off at a mad angle, unlike the cars you end up facing the wall a lot more. I also thougt the AI was a lot mor agressive in the US racer GP.

To explain myself. I said that i'm going to rent the PS2 version of BO3 to play the NFSU2 demo. Then you said the XBOX version of BO3 has NFSU2. I checked it and said no their is it. But you continued to insist that there was. Then you said the PS2 version has it in the extras. Which goes back to what i said in the first place. What happens when you go in a cirlce? Or when you draw a circle? You end up in the same place. So when i said "I just went in a full circle with you" after all that, i ended up in the same place that i was b4 you typed anything.
 
Lol ok, thanks for the explanation. And I´ve said that the PS2 version has it in the extras for you to look if your XBOX version has it there too. But I guess it doesn´t. So rent the damn thing anyways, it´s worth it!=)
