Buy Bond's Barrel-Rolling AMC Hornet for $250,000

Loved that movie. And bond in an amc was just so cool i thought. But, it was a 6 cylinder?! I figured 304 or even the 390 v8s.

I'm sure weight was a factor, they had to make the car as light as possible for the stunt. Also the V8 would have been harder to move around in the engine bay.

This is more of an FYI than a rebuttal, but the later V8s (304-403) are only about 40lbs heavier than the later I6s (199-252).
 
I might pay 2500. Not really my thing. If had 250k to spend on a car it would not be this. I suppose if you got duck you money it does not matter.
 
I'd pay $250k for the flying Matador though.

If I'm honest, since first seeing TMWTGG I've never cared for the radiused arches, but they're really growing on me. Could be an issue of continuity though...
