Anyone have this? Ive seen loads of trailers and stuff and it looks unbelivabley good.

Specially the video of Point Du Hoc, proper beach style!

I have played it for a few minutes at Best buy and it was really good. Not perfect by any means considering its the next gen in consoles but there is great potential once they keep producing games and work out the bugs.
You can go to Gametrailers.com to view several videos of this game and also review videos.

BlackZ28,
I noticed you have several xbox360 games.
Do you have any way to record videos? A capture device like the "Dazzle" is only about $40.00 then you could record anything you wanted.

Why doesn't this game have anti-aliasing? I saw it at F.Y.E. and couldn't believe it. My $200 PC shows less jagged edges than the Xbox 360.

aiming for the game felt a little more like brothers in arms..than Halo, but it's not hard to get a hang of..and remember, give it time and they'll have a keyboard mouse adapter for the 360 just like the xbox

I thought I was being ambushed by staircases every 2 seconds.

The jaggies are incredibly present throughout the 360 kiosk's demo of the game.

Definitely wasnt setup correctly, I played the entire game. Not a single jaggy. As a matter of fact the AA was fantastic.

yeah the kiosks are set up at lowest possible...Reason: they're in a plastic case..turned on for a good 16-18 hours a day in some cases with the only source of ventilation being a small port behind the system....

otherwise it'd probably fry.

Well I just bought the PC version yesterday from GAMESTATION. While I was there I asked them to put on the XBOX360 version. It looked fantastic so I was very excited when the guys said that the PC version looks even better on high-end PC. Got home and instilled it. Yes it looks much, much better on the PC. Also it's much better to control with the mouse and keyboard.

Still I will say that for a console Call Of Duty 2 looks fantastic. Best ever graphics for a FPS game on a console. It's just a rushed launch title which was primarily made for the PC then ported to the XBOX360 , not using anywhere near the full power of Microsoft's console. Considering that, it looks like the future's bright for the XBOX360. Once the hardware is better established and understood games will look and play even better.👍

I finally got to try this game out the other day (the XBox 360 version) and it's pretty awesome, I was completely blown away. I am seriously considering upgrading my PC so I can play it (properly).

Now, I'm VERY confident that my COD2 will come today through the post. I will post later what it is like, I'm very much looking forward to it.

Every X360 game has 4x AA.

I have never played the demo, but I do have the full version and it looks really clean. The only game I own that has noticeable rough edges, is PGR. The good thing is, the jaggies are limited to the garage rooftops and in-car shadows. But they are nasty.

Wow, this game is AMAZING. MUCH better than the demo I played in a store (much less zig-zags). The smoke is amazing and the gameplay just keeps getting better and better. I should play it online soon.

I rented this for the 360 and have played around 5-6 hours so far and it is a great game overall! The graphics arent anything mind blowing but the game play is very rewarding and really gives a great feeling that you are at war. You cant just run out into the open at the enemies like most game. You will be killed almost instantly. The controls felt great. The AI team mates are exciting to listen to and have some very funny comments at time.
My only few complaints with the game are the with the physics engine. It feels like it was rushed. If I shoot a lantern it really should blow up right?? If I run into a chair or blow it up with a grenade shouldnt it at least move? I shoot most windows and they dont even blow out. These are very picky complaints but for a next gen system I think these are mandatory for the physics engine. Even Half Life 2 for the regular xbox allows you to move every object in view and blow out almost every single window.
Over all the game is one of the few xbox360 games that I would actually buy and recommend. It is very very fun and extremely rewarding as a war based game. Just needs the physics engine cleaned up a lot. 👍

Again, play online. The game itself is fun, but the Live portion is where it is at.
I am dedicating tomorrow after work for my official. "xbox360 online night" I have to bring it back tomorrow night before midnight.
Tonight I will be playing Kameo again and try to get videos or pics of the HDTV in 1080i. :dopey:
So far Kameo is the top Xbox360 game I have seen. Nothing is even close when it comes to graphics and color quality. If youve seen the Kameo thread you would understand what I mean.

Just got this one last night (damn Im running up the credit card bill this month!) I love it (the game, not the bill lol)

Those technical oversights that CB mentioned with object movement/behavior are pretty much the only thing I have disliked about the game. Then again, If im hiding behind a desk, Im happy that it wont blow up if a grenade lands near it ;) This is a must buy if you just got your 360.

i finally got to sit down and play this game over the weekend and it is a very good game, im playing on the hardest level and it is definatly not a easy game to beat 👍

I rented this again over the weekend and you are right. When you play on the hardest setting(Veteran) it is extremely difficult. I bet it took me a couple hours just to get past the first level on the hardest setting. After I got that achievement I figured it was good enough. It would take many hours to get through the entire game on the Veteran setting. If you peak around a corner your dead instantly. Very challenging. I really wish I had a couple days to beat this game but I just dont have the patience for it. The game play sure was a lot more fun and realistic on Veteran. 👍

Well, it's best if you play through on the normal difficulty, and then go through it on Veteran difficulty.

But I agree with you. The mission after the training mission I got through somewhat easily, but the one after that is as hard as a rock. It reminds me of GRAW. You can't run into a room and shoot 'em up anymore. :(

Damn Halo screwed everything up didn't it? I know when I play a lot of FPS games lately I usually run-and-gun and thats a good way to die quickly. COD2 was fun, and I beat it on normal without too many problems. I rather enjoyed the British missions, and a few select American ones as well, but generally speaking I hated the Soviet ones...
