And combat training :) I think for the first week or so I'll just be doing the campaign, zombies and learning the maps via combat training, that way by the time I do jump into actual MP the glitches should be patched.

I just hope the CT bots aren't numbskulls. :lol:

It's now 12:06am so Black Ops released here six minutes ago... and my copy still hasn't shipped from the retailer I ordered it from. So much for expecting it to ship yesterday so I'd have it on release day :grumpy:

Well, the difficulty is apparently tied to either a) the difficulty of the AI in the single-player campaign or b) player levels in the multiplayer.

That is unfortunate. Hopefully when I pick up my copy tomorrow during my lunch break, I will be able to buy the Hardened version.

It's just the 8th here but amazon hasn't shipped the copies either like many were expecting. I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Mine was shipped on Sunday (Amazon), but unfortunately I won't be there (Uni flat) to collect until Wednesday :scared:. Never mind though, it's only an extra day and I might actually get some work done.
 
My friend is currently playing Black Ops on his 360. He always seems to get his pre-ordered games delivered one day early. He just told me the Campaign is "great", but I will reserve judgement for when I get it later this week.

Amazon status changed from not yet shipped to shipping soon in the last 30 minutes.

Good thing for the consumer.
 
Hopefully I can get my copy at Tesco as they seem to have a good deal if you buy it along with 3 months Live subscription.
 
It's a little laggy even when I host and the knifing sucks but other than that, 👍 👍

I hated MW2 but I'm loving this one. Viva la recoil.

Theater mode, heat maps and accuracy charts FT:censored:W!
I can’t wait to see what the community creates with the new theater. The ability to save matches, review them from any point of view, detach the camera for free-flying shots, edit clips together, and then share them as a movie all from within the game is incredible. This is a great learning tool as well, since you can see your accuracy chart on a paper doll as well as the heat map of deaths overlaid on the level.

Nah they are really smart actually. Most UK retailers are offering it with catches. Takes Sainsburys for instance, they are also offering it at £29.99 yet the catch is only if you spend another £30 on groceries. Gamestop and Game are offering it at cut down prices but only if you trade in other brand new games.

I'll be rushing to Best Buy in the morning and picking up my copy.

Hmm, this is the first FPS I've ever wanted to play. Everything I've seen has been very promising. Well, I'll have to wait a little longer for Hot Pursuit.
 
The stat tracking is unbelievably awesome. You have to see it to believe it.
 
Some of the reactions to reviews are a little disturbing. That Gaming Everything one mentioned the intense gore and the torture sequences and raised what I think is a valid point about how far it goes. A lot of the reactions have been along the lines of "Screw you if you think it's too much" and "You're such a pansy", and it's not limited to that review - I've seen it all over the internet.
