That sounds a bit like Danger Close's response when people saw that you'd be fighting as the Taliban in MP in MOH.Some of the reactions to reviews are a little disturbing. That Gaming Everything one mentioned the intense gore and the torture sequences and raised what I think is a valid point about how far it goes. A lot of the reactions have been along the lines of "Screw you if you think it's too much" and "You're such a pansy", and it's not limited to that review - I've seen it all over the internet.

That's not gore or real violence like you might see in Rambo, or hell, this game.Meh. Ever seen any of the movies from the Saw franchise?
Saw VI had a scene where a guy was strapped down and a giant ax was ripping open his stomach. Guts and stuff where flying everywhere. There was a couple of messed up scenes.
But, yeah, they all do this for the shock factor. They want to create controversy.

It's more the gore that's intense. Apparently you can shoot the limbs off people. It happens more in single-player mode than in mutliplayer (though I'm not sure if it can happen in multiplayer at all), and if MODERN WARFARE 2 is anything to go by, then everything happens pretty quickly so you've realy got to pay attention to it.When did that happen? I played the campaign twice, with gore and all that turned on, and never did I think it went too far or even close to it.
Makes sense after Infinity Ward did the same for "No Russian".They give you an option to disable the gory stuff when you first start up the game might I just add.
Got the game, patching its ass now with some e-bandaids.

Can you disable the torture scene, and if you do, do you simply skip it like "No Russian"? The big problem with skipping "No Russian" was that there was no real explanation of what happened and you kind of had to piece it together from the exposition in the plot. You got the basics, but the nuances were lost. I remember being confused when Shepherd revealed he was the one who burned the spy inside Makarov's operation because I skipped "No Russian".
Also, what are the cut scenes like? Are they actual cut scenes, or something similar to the very bland satellite image and dialogue from MW2?
Lets get some honest opinions in here. How does this multiplayer compare to MW2? How are the cheaters, map glitches, spawn killing??
