My initial thought of the R/C car was that it was going to be quite annoying. Seeing the R/C car in other videos has done nothing to change those thoughts. I fully expect the R/C car to be a big nuisance.

3 kill streak :(. However, they are adamant that it will not be overpowered at all...
Not overpowered? That video just showed a group of guys get killed by 1 car. These things are going to be annoying for those modes where you have to hold certain points.

Yeah that looks FAR too easy. Nothing in the previous CoDs could kill with a 3 kill streak....And since its zooming along at 30mph (up stairs even...they could've at least made it have some limited mobility), its going to be impossible to destroy it coming at you.

I still think if you think about it, the UAV (or Spy Plane) is superior as a 3 kill reward especially now. Why? Because the UAV helps your whole team build up their killstreaks with their gun rather then a couple of easy kills with the RC XD your whole team will benefit much more knowing where the enemy is.

It will still be annoying sure, but I think the thinking man will run the Spy Plane more. Then again, Ghost may become a dominant perk and negate the Spy Plane, then we're at noob central with RC XDs fighting each other more then people firing guns.

There in lies the issue. Most COD players are not thinking people, just gun-ho.

Very true, but I'm happy to abuse their stupidity especially when running in a team (which I usually do with the GTP crew). I can see the RC XD being very useful in objective games where you can save captures at the last moment, and that's how I will use them, saving them up until the point you need an objective save. For the most part most people play TDM though, and in that respect so long as the general player is dumb enough to not use Ghost the Spy Plane will be very useful.

I'll probably run Counter Spy Plane alot as well to make sure I'm making life difficult for the other team. We all know that level headed players will be running lower rewards because they're much easier to get, it's more important then ever to sync up killstreaks with your various teams to give your power players a better chance of getting the big rewards whilst everyone else runs SP and such.

It's actually a 2 kill streak with the perk hardline. It's going to ruin S&D.

UAV will be worthless in this game. Without stopping power everyone will be using ghost.

You'd think, but I'm not to sure yet. We all know how stupid the COD community is, plus there will be plenty of people chasing after pro versions of other perks for challenges and whatnot. People really shouldn't be wasting their time with hardline on MW2 (stopping power should always come before hardline).

The spy plane is alot more useful as a 3 killstreak because it helps you to get to the higher killstreaks as they don't stack this time.
The car is pretty good for SnD and alot of people were using it when I played that, The only time I got one was in a care package, I tried to start it up with the right trigger/ accelerate or so I thought and it exploded and killed me:crazy:

I suggest we stop ruining our opinion of the game before it is even out yet ok? People would like to go for higher killstreaks too and as they dont all rack up towards the killstreak count then we assume alot of people wont be sitting around on a 3 killstreak reward...

Hopefully you're right and there will be a lot of idiots using everything but.

That said I personally like hardline as an alternative on some classes. It is still useful on classes that didn't get any benefit from stopping power. I will probably use it with the FAL/M14 or an LMG. Its especially good if you only run low kill streaks like I do.

Those damn SAM's will be killing any air support, as soon as it shows up. Do not want. It's like an Aldo killstreak.

So I just read that there is still unlimited sprint with marathon pro. Thats lame.

I think they confirmed that there isn't ages ago. It is longer than normal but not unlimited..

Cod4's xcond was almost too much tbh. MW2's unlimited sprint was an absolute joke.

Hmm, I dug around and sadly I may actually be wrong, pro could be unlimited despite what I think they said. That sucks balls...

I heard that it wasn't unlimited either. I heard that it was no fall damage...

Also, I'm not all that keen on having to complete *three* different challenges in order to unlock the pro perks. One of the challenges for Marathon Pro is to get First Blood ten times, which means in theory you could play a million games with Marathon equipped and still not manage to unlock the perk. One of the Sleight of Hand challenges is to reload and finish off the guy you hurt ten times. I can see that being frustrating as heck to get done. The idea behind the perk challenges was good, but the implementation leaves a bit to be desired imo.

Lightweight has no falling damage for pro.

As for challenges I think it sounds good. I can get first blood 10 times in one night if I really wanted to. You just gotta know the routes people take.

By the looks of things most pro challenges will be picked up randomly anyway, like the reload and finish off 10 guys thing which I suspect will just happen anyway if you're using SoH. I can think of an easy ish way now if you knock a guy into last stand, reload and then finish him off.

Some will be picked up sooner or later sure, but from the ones I've seen they should be quite attainable without to much hassle. I just hope there's not another SitRep Pro style challenge, which was horrific to get on MW2 but we'll see I guess.

http://www.cod7blackops.com/perks/ is reporting unlimited sprint as well, FWIW.

Also from what I've seen one of the thoughts behind the Pro challenges was to encourage/force players to use a play style that is consistent with the advantages that perk provides.

People are reporting knifing through bullets and infinite care packages.... here we go again :banghead:

I read about the latter one. Apparently it's a major glitch - those with Hardline (or possibly just Hardline Pro) have found that if you repeatedly roll onto a care package, you can cycle through the pick-ups until you get the one you want.

I wanted to get hardened but they ran out, pick up my standard tomorrow :(.

Dont hate on the game, they sucked at WaW from the first weeks, all the under map glitches and crap but they got around to fixing it. They are better than IW who have left the rock glitch on fuel for PS3 since middle of the year with no signs of anything being done.

Let them patch it up and all shall be good.

What I would suggest doing is making the most of the campaign if the bugs and exploits get bad, and zombies of course.
