Predator missiles......freaking predator missiles non stop hitting only me the last 10 games or so I played last night, part of why I just quit for the night. I would hear it and then be like, yep its going to hit me, and of course it did, and every single damn time, come on!

Thanks for the replys guys my accuracy isnt that good atm and I definately noticed I caught other players off gaurd with the silencer on. Normally I shoot, miss and then they start moving around and get me :lol:
More kills and Ill have a hearbeat sensor for my M4 :D

Which you'll never really use. Heartbeat Sensor is the worst attachment if you still learning the game. You get tunnel vision on it and most people I see using it do the dumbest things with it. For example, this guy on Skidrow in Hardcore would just stop in the open if it went off, and would wait for the ping again. He'd just wait for someone to approach in the open if he though the HBS was saying they were coming near.

There are generally more useful attachments, such as the silencer or grenade launcher or a site or extended mags.
 
Had some epic games with the Cracker earlier, clan tags FTW!

I probably had my most enjoyable game ever when that kid put on Jump Around by House of Pain and started singing along, I don't blame him because I did too. Also K/DR now at 1.59, I'm so annoying now I've got a silencer on my UMP45.
 
Hey, I also attract Predators. Maybe we should all get on together, and see who exactly is the biggest Predator magnet!

Huh? I had 69 kills and 7 deaths with the domination scores being around 150-70 when I quit, I just got bored with spawn trapping so I decided to hit up some MW2.

I am aware of this party, probably the same party that comes looking for me as well. Internet, IW, they are all in on it as well. It seems like I get pwned in 100 different ways, sometimes seems supernatural(Jesus might be in on it, also).

Your fancy set up might be adequate in your Alien demo, but would never work in MW2! Never!
 
When an enemy predator is in the air, just do what I do, run like hell into a building!!! It's saved me multiple times
 
Well that may be a good strategy, your enemy will often do the same. Only he will be ready for you.

Oh believe me I do, but last night it seemed to be in vein because I would still be the one to get hit. Even if 300 yards away there were a group of 5 people there they would decide it was a better idea to just get one kill and take me:ouch:
 
Had an awesome kill at Invasion with the predator last night, hit 3 guys with a single predator missile, including one in the head (The headshot symbol even came up, prompting another player to congratulate me :P

I just had a wonderful game of Team Deathmatch at Afghan. I mostly stayed in one area of the map and picked off guys as I saw their red circle pop up on the radar. In the game, I managed to get MVP, Steamroller, and Decimator. I finished the game with a score of 28-2-5.

At one point, someone on the other team called in a Pavelow. I hid in underground bunker since the class setup I was using at the time did not have Cold Blooded Pro on it. The only thing bad about that was, just after the enemy Pavelow was called in, an enemy UAV was also called in. So I hunkered down and prepared for people to come my way, especially since I had just noticed two red blips near to my area. I managed to get both of the attackers, but one of them quickly came back and killed me. Though, that death was to the opposing teams detriment, as I switched to my anti-air class (1) and was fortunately spawned very near to the Pavelow. I quickly took it out and from there, I managed to get a Predator missile that just missed getting me two kills (the second of which I ended up getting an assist anyways), a Harrier strike, and then very soon after a Pave Low. The Harrier and Pave Low racked in the kills (the Pave Low especially did so). I also managed to get a few more with my AUG HBAR, before running out of ammunition on it and having to pick up another weapon. At that point though, the game was close to being over and I let my Pave Low continue what it does best.

(1) My anti-air class:
  • Primary Weapon: AUG HBAR w/Grip and Red Dot Sight
  • Secondary Weapon: Stinger
  • Equipment: Semtex
  • Special Grenade: Stun Grenade
  • Perk 1: Bling Pro - For leveling AUG with RDS while having the tremendous benefit of the Grip
  • Perk 2: Cold-Blooded Pro
  • Perk 3: Ninja Pro
 
Had some fantastic games lastnight,My winning streak went up to 13games,I know for some thats not a lot,but I was sitting on 11 games for so long,Its great it moved up,even if its only by 2.I am also at 26000 hits on my shield now,only another 24000 to go.

Yes,every time I play for the last month or so.My team mates who are for the most part,the same guys everynight,all know my movements,When playing S&D and other such Bomb games, I will do the planting and unarming of them,Leaving them free to go after the enemy:),I also play a big part in getting them kills,for some reason people see a riot shield and get transfixed on it,which lets my team mates get a shot on them,Thats not to say I dont get a few kills myself :sly:
 
I have yet to try the Riot Shield. What setup do you use with it?

Marathon pro, lightweight pro, ninja pro with throwing knife, best set up for the riot shield. When they start reloading throw the knife into them:tup: Also you need to crouch because if not your feet will be exposed if not, also people will just run at like they can't be killed for some reason when you have a riot shield:dunce:
 
I've had some good times with the Riot Shield... it really pisses people off :lol:

The one perk you need more than any other is Scavenger,with this you dont have to go looking for your Knife if thats what you use,also it,as we all know,reloads your Ammo.Instead of flash bangs,use stun gernades,This way your team mates and you can still see the enemy,then lob a bit of semtex.I had a game lastnight in which I got 6 Double kills and most nights I will get a Tripple kill or two in a game,you wont get that with the Knife.Lightweight pro is a good perk for the shield due to the extra weight.And your last one should be Commando pro,because you can jump off any height and not die,plus it gives you the Increased Melee Distance.Ninja pro would not be a perk I use with the shield because I want them to know I am there,that way they show themselfs and then a team mate can pick them off:).I don't care about K/D so the shield works well for me,Plus I like the pace of the game while using the shield.If I am a help to the team or not is something they can only really say,I think I am:dopey:
 
Commando might be more useful that ninja. I don't use the riot shield though.

I've been playing around with the FAL all morning. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU I hated that gun at first because the iron sights are horrible but as soon as I unlocked the holographic sight omg I fell in love... I'm using bling, stopping power pro and commando. So much win. I only wish I could use scavenger pro with this kit but I like having the M203 has a back up.

I also managed to get my K/D ratio up to 1.90. So close to my goal of maintaining a 2.0 average.
 
I use ninja pro so I won't be seen that way I can flank them instead of head on and bash them from the rear mostly, considering my K/D when using the shield is usually at least 2.00 I'm happy with my set up. With the knife its super fast when head on, they unload and start reloading then bam they are dead, and you just pick the knife back up. Marathon pro simply because your so heavy with the shield and being able to constantly run is nice, even with it and lightweight pro you are still slower than someone without either so that's why I use those.



EDIT: I also don't play anything other than HCTDM and TDM also though

Theewar you without the shield is not the same in our games as we/I have got so used to it.
I have also stopped shooting down air cover for you to rank up your hits wirh your shield.

In my opinion your going the wrong way with your setup. I find very little use for Cold-Blooded unless I combine it with a silenced weapon so my choice would be to combine Stopping Power with the MG4.

This. The only time Cold Blooded is really useful is possibly on Wasteland if there is an abundance of Thermal users.

Cold-Blooded is so enticing to me since I can't be seen by the automated kill streaks and by the chopper gunner and AC-130 to an extent.

BTW The MG4 is really underrated and underused.
 
All LMG's are underused in MW2. I have no idea why either, they are very good guns. Personally I don't use them as they don't fit in with my style of play at the moment but I could adjust to them if I wished.

I completely agree with you about Cold-Blooded though, by far my favourite perk in the game. Just put a silencer on your guns and don't run into the open, it's a sure fire way to score well. So many times people go tunnel vision if they have a UAV, completely ignoring you in plain view because your not a dot on the map. Combine with Ninja for the same effect on Heartbeat Sensor users.

EDIT: Also I'll be on MW2 from around 9:30am GMT tomorrow for quite a while if anyone wants some games. My clan tag contains a rude word or image permanently now thanks to The_Cracker.

I'm gonna set up two classes with lmgs, one with stopping power, the other with cold-blooded when killstreaks are all over the damn place. 💡

I should have done this in the first place.

EDIT: Does anyone play 3rd person? It's really fun with demolition and domination. Feels like old-school Socom to an extent.

I like LMGs a bit, though the reduced movement speed drives me crazy. At the moment, I am trying out the MG4 on my eighth class. I like it but I don't at the same time. The SCAR and Berret tend to be my go to weapons right now, being used on 6 classes right now, while the 7th is using a Riot Shield.
 
^Movement speed don't bother me as I just go carefully cover to cover. The MG4 is a bit weak, but I think proper aiming and it's fire rate can compensate.

It really just boils down to who sees who first and who's quicker at pulling the trigger.
