t peaked at 2.77 for sometime but it's around 2.70 now. I've started playing S&D a lot more now so it takes a bit.

Also, I'm really getting up with the game. So many laggy matches, UMP noobs, ridiculous spawn points etc... It's one of the reasons why I moved to S&D, apart from the insane XP you gain from it.

i dont like S & D since im so new, i usually end up dead first. plus with no respawns, most people from my experience, camp with heart beat sensors until the last minute or so when theres a mad dash to plant/diffuse the bomb.

UMP with a silencer is a solid gun, I use that one my rush setup. I don't gain much from S&D and really just don't like it, also don't like sitting there watching people play if I get killed:tdown: What I started doing to get high xp matches is play on domination with hardline and have it set to pred, harrier, emergency air drop. I don't take the stuff from the air drop, instead I will throw it where my mates are and let them take it. Why would I do something insane like that? Well you get way more points for sharing most of them than you would using them by far. The only ones I will take are the chopper gunner, ac130, and the turrent gun just because with those I can get more points through kills.Giving the emp away nets you something like 450xp:tup:

Time Attack did good in most games, too. It was funny when you started crying & swearing though. I was laughing(sorry) when you started going off, had no idea it was you until at the end of the game.

this is especially sad when you realize that I wasn't even wearing my mic at all last night.

I was getting ****ed up in a few of those games. I'm not sure if it was lag or what but I got knifed in the back three times on sub base and I think thats where I lost it.

Yeah, it was sub base. There were few games that was lagging so bad, not visually, but you know when you get killed. You think you are just blasting them away, but instead of dying, they just turn around and shoot you dead. I can't remember if it was the same match, but that game was also on the sub base as well.

Also on the sub base, this guy was coming right at me, no commando pro, right straight through on my AA12(full auto shotgun) fire to knife me. I've never even seen that happen before. :irked:

any snipping tips? what maps are good for sniping?

at the moment, i find myself camping a long hall way for a while and then moving onto the next one while watching choke points occasionally.

Wasteland. Station yourself around the perimeter of the map and snipe people running into the trenches. Make sure you move around the map, and don't snipe from the same place continually as eventually someone will take it upon themselves to flush you out. Take a few shots from one position and move.

Don't snipe silenced in core, either.

Lol, thats like the gamewinning killcam I got on scrapyard last night.

I finished unlocking all of the attachments for the SCAR-H yesterday. Since I only have kills and headshots left to do on it, I have decided to take it out of the rotation for the time being and start unlocking attachments for other weapons in my inventory.

I started out with the TAR-21 in the place of the SCAR-H, mainly because I had already racked up about 100 kills with it and figured that would be a good starting place. I played around with it for a bit, grew tired of it, and decided to throw the FAMAS into the class instead. The FAMAS quickly led to two quick games of 20+ kills. One game was something like a 24-2-2 and should have easily been 26-0-1 had I not been screwing around with my USP45 secondary. I quite like having the USP45 as my secondary, but have only managed to get six kills with it. The primary reason I like having a handgun as my secondary is the rapid switch from the primary weapon to it. That super fast switch can be a lifesaver in close quarters combat when your primary weapon runs through a magazine, as four of my six kills with it have been in those type of situations.

I also managed to rank myself up to level 48 tonight and unlocked the ACR. I have not played a game with it yet. It has taken the place of my sniper rifle class because of my mostly ineptness of using a sniper rifle at the moment. One of the sniper rifles will eventually find its way back into one of my classes, just not right now.

I only like it cause I am really good at it. Sure, I die sometimes and end up watching people play but in the meantime I just look to my left, go on GTP or whatever till the round is over. I am prestiging with S and D, it is the quickest way but only if you are good enough.

I switched to XBL today, and big mistake. Earlier in the morning, I was struggling, even on PSN, but not enough to do any damage to my k/d. On XBL, however, it dipped from 2.01 to 1.99. It will go lower in no time, as I can barely get 6, 8 kills in a match! Astounding.

And then there are times you can barely move, because the lag is so bad.

Today, I was playing some TDMs with my buddy, then all these dummies were discussing how all the MW2 players are from Oregon(they were using the area code clan tags). I didn't have the heart to tell them that they were grouping the locals together, obviously.

The UMP isn't so bad on TDM, but if you play S&D enough everyone uses it. People just spray and pray around corners with it and the speed you run with it is insane. Okay, it's a sub machine gun, but on both hardcore and even core modes it has assault-rifle power and range. All other submachine guns feel weak or don't have the range in comparison (maybe the Mini Uzi is okay).

If you're a good player and use this gun on say, TDM, you're pretty much unbeatable. We were coming top every single time with like 25/30 kills and around 5-10 deaths with this gun. It's not as OP as the M16 was in COD4, but it's there.

Edit: I actually call the people who use this gun a slightly more crude name I can't post here. It's tolerable on TDM, but for S&D is really bugs me.

Also using thumpers across the map on spawn on S&D is really what makes me play the game mode. I managed to do this the other day, except killing 5.

Annoying as hell to happen to me (or anyone, even), but so satisfying when you do it to them. You gain like 2000xp just from doing that in the video. I got from just prestiging to 7th to lvl 46 in 3 days because of S & D and doing this. :p My mate got from 60-69 in one day.

I seem to have more bad games when I play with you GTP guys. I played one match with some of you tonight and I got messed up. Maybe its more recently but I had a bunch of connection issues tonight. I was kicked off the PS network 3 times just tonight. Its also been lagging terribly. I never had this many issues with my connection before.

Display of extreme whorish behavior

And you are complaining about people using the UMP while you do that? Honestly? Really?

You have no room to talk at all. Period. Ever.

Eh, that was everyone tonight... seemed PSN was being very moody this evening. And I mean very. And don't worry, all you really missed out on was a bunch of teenage hacked 10th Prestiges that camped and played whorishly and then talked trash constantly. I was called a variety of expletives. And then a mexican because I was the host in a game they lost on. Was quite exciting.

I play horribly when I play with my friends(local). GTP guys are the only one who doesn't really affect my game. I play about the same, sometimes better than when I go in just by myself.

I wish there were more of you on XBL, as I just gave up tonight. My k/d didn't dip any lower than 1.99(only matter of time!), but it would have helped to run with some quality players. When going gets tough, CoD seem to put you in the crappiest noob teams possible. I was getting shot from front, back, sometimes from the side as well. Very telling sign that you are on a team that is getting ran over.

It must just be who is hosting our matches.

and yeah the match making has been sucking royally recently. I keep getting put into so many one sided matches it isn't funny. I wish you could pick if you want to join a game after its started or not. So many times I spawn in and see the score is like 5500 to 900.

Yep. Really.

I'd rather be killed by something like that then a whole team of people with UMPs spraying hipfire randomly, especially through walls.

You probably won't agree, but firing a noob tube at that distance requires a little skill. Hipfiring a UMP does not.

Can you tell me how that require skill? All you need to do is learn where to aim and when, and you need some luck to get 4 or 5 kills.

Cross-map tubing is easy. Tubing into somewhere takes skill - a friend of mine can tube into the cockpit of the plane (the one with five engines) at Terminal from the bottom of the escalators...

That's where the little skill comes into it. I'm willing to bet some people can't tue across map like that consistently. Anyone can use and fire a UMP in a general direction. I'm not an absolute hater of the gun it just catches my attention more often that any other gun. If only they reduced the magazine clip or made it slightly weaker then it would be an issue in my world.

I can understand why people would get annoyed, but there's always a chance for people to run away from tubes. I only really get 1-2 kills like this per game if I'm lucky because people have the sense to rush away from their spawn.

And yeh, there's places where it is a fair bit harder. The map Karachi where you spawn near the white van next to the turrent - you can tube from there right into the stair case to the roof on the other end. Requires fairly pin-point accuracy.

Ha, Famine, that's pretty tricky.

I got a bit bored of campers and made a... slightly explosive class. I accidentally it to some of the guys who play with me and one of them has adopted it full time (and offered to have my indigo babies) and another uses it at least half the time.

Primary: Any AR with tube.
Secondary: Any launcher (RPG and Thumper preferred)
Equipment: Claymore
Deathstreak: Martyrdom
Perks: Scavenger/Pro, Danger Close/Pro, SitRep/Pro
Killstreaks: Predator, anything, Chopper Gunner

Oh, this class is fun. Really nasty, but fun.

Thats the class I use when I go booster hunting in FFA. I will kill them both and then plant a claymore ontop of the tactical insertion that way when he finally respawns thinking if he waits I will just leave? He will get killed and it will destroy the tac at the same time so I get double points :)

My main assault class has a noob tube attached to the m4. I dont use it all the time but a couple of times a match is good. I can aim it pretty well, have gotten it in the cockpit of the plane and through tonnes of far away windows before, it definitely has a bit of skill though, you have know where to aim, that can be hard.

I have one class like that and named it NoobTuber
I don't use the tube until I get killed by one.
