Yeah I play TDM almost exclusively as it is. If I still feel up to the challenge tomorrow I may give ground war a try. I don't really like domination though because there is just so much camping. It also seems like there are more serious players in objective games.

You guys seen spiderbites new videos? This guy is insane. I will be having those nightmares to go please because I'm getting the fuuuuuuuuuuuuu out of here :scared:

You have to play either Domination or Ground War to have enough time to pull off a Nuke.

To true, I think 1 of my nukes was on normal TDM, 1 was on Demolition (which I triggered right at the start of a tie breaker for instant win :sly:) and the rest were Domination or Ground War. Similarly the map makes a big difference, Afghan is possibly the easiest as the spawn points are woeful, grouping the enemy together under your chopper gunner so they die before they can do a thing.

How on earth can a Stinger miss a Harrier? Twice I had a clear lock-on and both times the missile did diddly-squat (read: missed) :grumpy: <- grumpyface

But did you have two Stingers miss the same Harrier? Opposition gets a Harrier up, I die, switch to CB Stinger kit, get a lock-on, fire, miss, get another lock-on, miss AGAIN and then get shot by a dude on the ground. To top it off, some other guy on my team managed to shoot the Harrier down. :/

I have had that happen to me on multiple occasions. Just a few weeks ago, during one playing sessions I had five or six Stinger misses on Harriers, at least two of them missing on the same Harrier, in the matter of maybe ten games. As you can imagine, I was severely annoyed that my Stingers continued to miss the targets I was aiming at.

edit: oh, and I'm annoyed that semtex doesn't count towards any of the generic grenade kill challenges. Last I checked, semtex was still a form of grenade... :\

I am also annoyed at that. I have not used frag grenades enough to get a feel for how long to cook them.

I piggyback the shield guy sometimes. I get mixed results. lol

When I encounter one, I usually do the crossover move, just like in basketball. As I crossover to the right(opposite of my basketball crossover!), I'm emptying my clip into the guy. That's been working real well lately, but I don't know if it's my move, or they just suck at it. :crazy:

I have not encountered people on my team using the riot shield enough to figure out the best tactics on using it to my advantage.

The bad thing about the game I was in with two opponents using the riot shield was, the one guy that was pretty good with it primarily caught me in one of the buildings on Sub Base. If I caught him in the open, then he was having real trouble dealing with me moving to the side and shooting him.

I have been using the M4A1 since my last prestige and I really have always hated the gun and before I prestiged this time I hadn't even unlocked the grenade launcher for it, thats how much I hated it. I started using it this time around just because I hadn't used it at all. Its not as bad as the stats make it look to be really. I always looked at the damage and thought, that looks like a waste of an assault rifle. I just unlocked the shotgun attachment and was destroying mofo's in a few rounds of HCHQ.

The M4A1 is very similar to the ACR. The M4A1 has a slightly faster rate of fire and just a smidgen more recoil. The big advantage of the ACR over the M4A1 is it maintains its damage over a longer range.

You guys know I come in here crying sometimes. Does this happen to many of you? It is scary how quickly, and by how much this game can turn against you. I mean it can just go from cruising, to you turning into what seems like the worst CoD player, ever!

I can run off three or more straight games with a score around 20-2-4 or something thereabouts. I can then run into some bad games and look like I have never played this game in my life.

So I pull out the SPAS (like I was doing most of the match - most of the night, in fact), and pick off a guy at point-blank range running between the side of the map and the giant concrete box thing near the A flag in Dom. Shot another guy just around the corner of the box thing, put him into Last Stand (which is such a loser perk - watch episode 3 of The GUNN Shop for the reason why), just managed to finish him off before he got me back.

I refused to use Last Stand or Final Stand based on principle.

Couple of times I have had my care packages stolen by my own team mates on purpose. Just when ime about to go to them I've had a stun grenade thrown at me and then the package had gone.
Unlocked the extended mags on the AA12 last night but with my set up prefer the Grip with it anyway.

:D I think I have taken one or two of your packs and I normally throw a stun towards it just in case theres an enemy near by it.Congrats on the extra clips for the AA.

About the danger close perk? I use it with my noobtube class and remember a while back that it only had to land in the same direction as the enemy and you would get a kill,but of late it seems worthless:confused:Has it been toned down?.

My k/d has started to move up in the last month or so from 0.77 to 0.89,now I know a lot of you guys could do better than this with a blindfold on,but for me this is wonderfull :)theres some games where I even get to call in killstreaks 5,6 and 7 twice.
 
I've had a little session this morning, this games alot more fun when you have something else to slog through the longer days with and just take it in bursts. Similarly once you forget about KDR you start having more fun, ALOT more fun. I am happy to let my KDR slip down from it's high horse now, I proved my point to myself that when I apply myself I can shred the game to pieces with consistently high scores and good KDRs.

It's a hell of alot more fun just trying different weapons, different things. My thing for the day has been sniping (hard and quick scoping) which I've never been much good at but it's fun to try. Sure my KDR saw an instant drop to 2.99 but to my surprise I was right back up to 3.00 next game (though it will drop again I'm sure) that said I was never in a bother about dropping like I would have used to be.

I'll probably do some other random things some of which I've done before like no killstreak rewards, non-lethal rewards, stealth sonic (marathon + CB), as well as some thing's I never bothered with like the riot shield, single 1887 (I've never used the weapon full stop) and maybe, just maybe I'll make a danger close set up (also never used that perk).

Gunns looks like he might shank you with a broken beer bottle over a game of pool. Spider looks like he might try and get you drunk on wine coolers and then try to touch your bunghole.

hAd a great TDM match earlier with the Gtp crew.
Losing 7200-6200 I think.
Aldo calls in the harrier and I get my harrier and pavelow up at the same time
with him and win the match 7500-7400. The other team couldn't believe they lost it.

I have been told I look like I'm fresh out of prison, I'm not fresh out, I got probation:dunce: I have been told by a few people I look like a younger version of Ken Burton also, I think we do actually look kind of similar, my dads side of the family came to america from Yorkshire, England only two generations ago so I'm sure those genetics have a role in it because of my nose and general face struction etc. Mums side was born on indian reservation and of course over the generations have came off. Do I look like I would stab you with a shiv or do I look like Ken Burton to any of you? I'm a really nice guy, unless you mess with my kids or family then I tend to get a little manimal style pissed off:mad: And no I have no idea what I was doing with my right hand, was one of those pictures where they yelled hey James, look at me and I turned around to *snap*.

What does Ken Burton look like? I need a reference photo... :p Speaking of Mr Burton, have you guys seen the knife battle he had with Junkyard129 on Scrapyard? Was a pretty funny match, Junkyard was epic failing due to Ken being host and Junk having a two-bar connection :lol:

I grew up in section 8 and fighting allot, I try to stay away from a fight as much as possible now, especially since I'm on probation, the slightest thing like that would violate it and I would be in for a year and a day:tdown: People always think I'm an Ahole until they have to talk to me for a bit. These days the only thing that would push me to smashing in some eye sockets would be like I said, messing with my kids, wife, family in general....that's a no, no. A real parent will protect their young with a fury you don't want to be on the other end of, the older I have got the more mellow I have become, the days of, wtf are you looking at are well and gone.

Yeah I watched it. Its exactly what I'd expect if I were playing with a bunch of people from the UK. I predict the next match with junk hosting is going to be just as one sided.

I kinda see the resemblance to ken but its mostly just the beard and the receding hairline.

As much as I hate to admit it I spent some time in juvee myself. Luckily I've learned to control my temper a lot better in my old age.
 
I need help with Spec Ops, but after sending out many requests to people, they seem to ignore me and continue playing online.

Ha, well I'm sure he is older than me, he looks it. I'm turning 29 this July, I believe he said he was 33 or 34, can't remember, I'm not into the whole "fanboy" deal, I just like to watch all of those guys videos to steal some play style etc.👍 And on that note of play style, I am really liking my M4A1 with ACOG and silencer stuck on it, I have that and then cold blooded, steady aim, frag, and AT4 ( don't have the stinger unlocked again yet:grumpy:)

As for the M4, my older stealth class was the M4 with holographic and silencer. Its good but I found I was using more rounds to drop a target than I have been with the scar. It is a bit more accurate over range and I believe it has a slightly higher rate of fire but its really lacking in stopping power by itself.

Age doesn't bother me at all, so no offense there:) Could care less how old I look, the gray hairs all in my beard and receding hair line don't help a young look exactly, but who care...not I.

It wasn't that they were bad sights, its just that without a red dot, holo, or ACOG the thing seems to have allot more recoil than with any of them attached to the gun, is that just me? If you don't recall noticing it do me a solid and use the gun in a match without a RD,HOLO, or ACOG and then use it the next match with one of them. I haven't had a problem dropping people with the setup I use, even though it has a silencer and no stopping power. What I do is when I use it I play a little more sneaky, and I also start shooting at the chest as not to miss and then just move the sight up to the head in a spray and usually I get, Ping, headshot!
 
I know exactly what you mean about the iron sights. They aren't particularly bad like the FALs but they are far from perfect.

The M4 is one of few ARs I like with the ACOG, but it does seem to wok quite well with it. Seems to be fairly consistent regardless of what sight you have on it.

As for age, I wouldn't not have suspected you for being only a few years older than me... I'll be 25 here in a few months, the idea of me having kids in the near future still seems wild.

If Spec Ops wasn't so outrageously laggy across oceans I'd be in (even more then normal online play), but I doubt my net is up to the task.
 
Yes, the lag is tremendous, it is absolutely unbearable.

Mate, when we tried to do spec ops the other night I had severe lag. Even when you went off and fixed something there was still a bit of lag which made it far less than enjoyable for me.

Hmmm... MW2 has gone down hill since I last played.

It takes an age to get into a game, and if I'm with my clan, it can be a right ball-ache. Half of us enter the match, the other half either get kicked or end up in a different match altogether! What gives?
 
Make sure the party host as a NAT of open, thats all you can really do along with try to make everyones NAT open.

I've had 1 game today, trying out the Model 1887 for the first time (single, none of this akimbo rubbish) I can see why people like shotguns, but I find much much more entertainment when using a single shot and kill (level/pump/bolt) rather then a semi-auto or automatic spray happy shotty which is kind of lame and nowhere near as satisfying. I managed to pull off a 17-2 on a 1 bar with 9 model kills, and only 1 kill coming from streaks (was on a 3-4-5 set up from sniping). I think I'll stick with the single model for a while as my secondary with my trusty M16. Quick tip for the model, along with other secondaries, change weapon on spawning and allow the secondary weapon to load then swap back and continue as normal.
