You can play split screen against bots in black ops. thats what I'm been doing.
I know, I was thinking that would've been nice.

I think I got little bit desperate last night, because I went into split-screen & Spec Ops. I don't know what I was expecting from split screen.

I take it the PSN is still down? I so should have kept my X360.

Come back to us!!!

You do know you can do almost that whole level without killing people, right?

When you get to the pipe, keep as far right as the game borders allow, and crawl on your belly. You can go under/around it, and avoid the sight of the crew down the bottom in the distance. Then snipe the last two, and jump over the slidey bit.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

:grumpy:👍

Hmm, I'll give that a go later.

My friend brought up a funny point the other day. He said he used to wonder why he couldn't turn the radar off becasue he'd either get commando knifed, shot down by a slienced UMP, or long range sniped or noob tubed lol.

I really miss playing it now that PSN is down. Spec Ops is good but you really do need the fall back of a second player to assist or watch your 6. Having said that, Estate Takedown (I think its called that) is still my favourite ops to play. Shotgunning Juggernauts with the 50 Cal is awesome and then sitting up top with the Thermal WA2000 to pick everyone else is great. Great fun going into the basement and giving yourself a gimp class. Like trying to take on the 35+ mobiles with a Desert Eagle and an Uzi lol

Completed Wetwork on Veteran. :sly: Currently at 63/69 stars. I really doubt that I'll be able to complete the last two missions on Veteran alone.

For the oil rig level with the jugs, I find if you take to the sniping point and have patience, they will come along in few enough numbers for you to snipe them before they get to you.

For the Favela level, I took to a doorway near the right hand side as you start the level, a bit of running required.
The Jugs will gather in the room while you cower behind the counter in there, and you can knife them and survive.

There are youtube vids for both levels, but I can't be bothered finding those for you.

Good luck.

:irked:👍

So A6, what have you been doing with your time away from PSN?

I read a book. I thought it would be back up by now or I'd have started on another book by now.

I finally bought a new controller today. My old one was still broken from playing to much MW2. Its a sweet two tone OD green. I can't wait to try it out online. It feels much tighter. :)

To be honest, I don't miss it at all. Maybe not all, because I do miss ACR with holo sight. :dopey:

I also thought it would be back up by now, but I've been hooked on Netflix, so I'm not even bothered by it to be honest.

Give us a picture. My CoD controller is starting to go, but it is sweet. At first, I loved the DS2 or 3 or whatever it was. Then I switch to X360, I loved the X360 controller, hated the SONY. Then I find this cheapie Logitech, and it is just perfect. It doesn't have that motion sensor thing, so you couldn't use it on every game, but it works on multiplayer CoD's just fine. It's like a hybrid between X360 & PS3 controller, but for me, better than either one.

yeah I hate the xbox controller but I love the PS3 controller. It just feels right to me. They call this one jungle green. My old one was so loose it was crazy. I thought I was just rusty with my aim so I kept turning down the sensitivity. With this one I've cranked it right back up.

I LOVE the color. Nice! 👍

Oh wait...

I haven't even turned my PS3 on since PSN went down, from what I recall. Haven't missed it much to be honest, since I can just play CS:S and 1.6, along with UT3 and TF2 to get my FPS fix.

I've gotten bored of CoD (Didn't like Black Ops too much)
..

Now I am anxiously awaiting battlefield 3!

You should probably be in the battlefield thread then.

just watched this knife montage and must say its pretty sweet

Chris

Cool montage. 👍 I enjoy this type of stuff so much more than watching people get lucky with random tosses into the air.

I'm pretty sure I saw your mouse in Tron.

Even better from this angle.

Hardly bought it for the lights, though they change colors! It is the most ergonomic mouse I've ever owned, and certainly more comfortable for long sessions than an OEM mouse or even many small gaming mice.

I guess they sort of do:

I've been wanting a .45 too.

I have shot about five rounds through a Glock 21 with a green laser attachment. The laser attachment made aiming the pistol incredibly easy. The Glock 21 on the other hand felt just slightly too large for my hand. The grip was just a bit wider than it needed to be. Firing more than five rounds may have changed my opinion though.

MW3 busted wide open. Guess someone, or some ones, at 1 of the 3 developers thought it would be a good idea to leak a great many of the game's details. Dunno why, but it is all out there now. Also this leak includes a breakdown of the full story line, so major spoilers included in that section.

The Modern Warfare 3 Files: Exclusive First Details on the Biggest Game of 2011

Brian Crecente — Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming Nov. 8, 2011, Kotaku has learned, delivering with it mammoth battles that engulf a dozen cities around the world including New York, Paris and London.

Multiple sources have shared details of the game's story, art, sounds and game modes with Kotaku, noting that the game will reshape the landscape of the Call of Duty franchise, bringing an impressive number of eclectic settings, deep multiplayer gaming and a story that ties up nearly all loose ends from previous titles, including the final moments of key figures in the series' history.

While we haven't seen the game in action ourselves, we've gone to great lengths to nail down as much as possible the veracity of our sources. We believe that the imagery and chief details are accurate. That doesn't mean things can't change before release, but this appears to be a full run down of where Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software is on Modern Warfare 3 as they add the final polishing touches.

The story mode in both Black Ops and MW2 is just ruined by the ENDLESS number of bad guys you have to kill. There are not enough Stealth missions that remain Stealthy for my taste.

And I honestly won't be buying this given my current attitude at CoD and Activision.

Mason, We gotta do this for the BROTHERHOOD!!
