I prefer CoD4, but it is harder to party up for that one. I will play CoD4 or MW2. As long as it's a TDM. icelt?

Yeah I should be able to make it for tomorrow night, only have MW & BO though.
 
Good games A6. We won every one of them. I really enjoyed using that G3.
 
We did, but everybody were ABSOLUTELY horrible! On top of that, they made me host, so I had close to 10 kills where I should have died.

Weird thing was that on maps like Crossfire, Ambush, where I thought I'd go 30 kills, I absolutely struggled(considering :p).

I was kicking myself over stupid stuff, too. I forget that they give you a frag regardless, so some matches, I didn't get to use them. I killed myself out of a chopper once, too. Kept tripping over myself. :lol:

If we had another couple of quality players, and if we hosted, we could probably continue to win all night long.

WTH. So what are we doing? :lol: ice should borrow MW2 from somebody, MW2 would be little bit easier to play with larger party. Has anybody seen that Icarus/Forza guy? I'm pretty sure Rabby's MIA at this point, too. :D
 
I didn't really notice any lag with you on host like I always do in MW2. There was a little lag but nothing more than I expect from these games already. That very last game I nearly went 19-1 until this sniper guy managed to outrun my 7.62s and knife me at the very end. Otherwise it was a pretty lag free time on my end.

Good. Yeah, the knife thing is still not fun, but you had some really good games. 👍
 
Yeah, I mostly hung back because I was using Semi-auto all night but at least two games I managed to out score you anyway. I guess the other team was so bad I actually got away with running around with such a setup.

Oh yeah, jugger is still an annoying perk. I had forgot all about it.
 
Juggernaut has never bugged me. We really should move this to the CoD4 thread though.
 
Yeah I think they should bring back jug and stopping power for MW3. Those two along with UAV jammer were pretty well balanced. I think the best way to do those three perks with their pro versions would be like this

Jug: regular is increased health. Pro would be increased explosion resistance but not as much as flak jacket from BO.
Stopping power: Regular is increased damage. Pro is increased penetration like Hardened from BO.
Ghost/Cold blooded: Regular is exactly like UAV jammer. It is only effective against UAVs. Pro would be no red name or cross hair exactly like cold blooded pro.

I could go on about my ideas for perk balancing but those are the big three that need to be fixed.

I like CoD4. I don't want Pro-upgrade to perks. I also would prefer fewer perks & streak rewards. Won't happen though. :D
 
Fewer perks would be boring. I'd like to see more perks and weapons to keep it interesting.

To me, they distort and take away from the game play itself. I would welcome more weapons, customization on uniforms, guns, etc. though. Maps without off-limit buildings, floors also would be plus for me.

One preference of mine that just about everybody would hate would be realism. Real warfare, not the arcadey run 'n' gun stuff. In CoD, camping is bad. In real warfare, it is mostly about holding or taking position. And I'd want death to be penalized heavily. Maybe not to put you out of match as soon as you die, but maybe like in S&D(or whatever mode) where you have to wait few seconds before you can respawn.

I wish I had my own CoD game & make everybody play it. :p
 
The trailers for Battlefield 3 look amazing and I am probably going to buy the game when it is released. I have been thought about picking up Bad Company 2. I have heard quite a few good things about Bad Company 2. Getting a bit of experience with a DICE game would probably be good before picking up Battlefield 3.

How about a CS3 game possibly even on console. Maybe in a few years when the next gens come out.

As for BF3 I'm not interested. Bad company 1&2 killed battlefield for me. BF2 Modern combat was fun and then they went and made it to much like cod but without the freaking ability to move around like a normal person.

Are we still playing later tonight?

Just announced during the Thunder game, there will be a world premiere Modern Warfare 3 trailer at some point during the game.
 
I already seen it if its the one I'm thinking about. Unless its exclusive its already up on machinima.
 
So there's a fun new little glitch in MW2, kill and win stats not posting to the LB. Played some with A6 last night and he can confirm that although I've played online for like 3 hrs I don't even show up on the Kills or Wins LB's. They track fine on my player card though. Apparently it is a known glitch that IW intends to patch along with some other cheats, at least that is what I've read.
 
I love mw2. My brother and I play it a few times a week. I like it a lot better than Black Ops. All we play is hardcore search and destroy. We usually do good enough to be the top scorers on our team but we have off days, just like everyone else. We both have around 15 days played on that game so far.

Yeah, that was weird. I think you still show up on accuracy or something irrelevant like that(hi Cody :p ), but your name was definitely missing from kills & win/losses.
 
Getting some games in this morning and all of a sudden I had a huge lag spike and everything dropped. I find that my router was malfunctioning and after resetting that I still couldn't even get my computer to work for several minutes. So annoying. It was a close game on sub base at that 7100-7300. I don't think I was hosting either as I joined the game a fraction after it launched.
 
Close games are awesome.

In basketball, it is the worst feeling in the world. In CoD matches, if you win by 1 or 2 kills, it is very cool. But even if lose, you still feel like you put up a good fight. But we can never help but to look at the numbers to see who lost us the game. :D
 
We were going to lose anyway. It was one of those matches with a lot of butt hole tactics and no real skill.

Skill? Every shotgun is over powered and range when you have Stopping power Pro with Grip.
 
Only the akimbo shotguns are overpowered. The real problem is that they are secondaries. There would be no problem with the spas if it had the same range and was a primary.
