My trigger finger is to slow to notice a difference between games.

My current setup is a bit of a laugh. Bling pro, cold blooded pro and ninja pro. I'm using the holographic and heart beat sensor with akimbo extended mag USP .45s as my secondaries.

Guilty :lol: I got it as well as someone who has never and was never going to prestige back when I played MW2. It was one of the perks of not prestiging (pun... intended), but honestly it wasn't really worth it in the end.

I have reached the point where I could Prestige for a fifth time. It would mean I get another custom class, but I do not know if that is beneficial enough to Prestige again at this point.

I'd do it. For XBL, I had prestiged three times, so I had two extra slots. I still had no problem running out of slots.

On my PSN account, I have just one. Personally, it sucks!
 
At this late stage in the game's life you have to ask yourself if you'll still play it enough over the next 6 months to make it worth while. I could prestige here pretty soon but if I did I doubt I'd play it enough to be in the same spot again before MW3 comes out.

Instead of doing that I'm just going to work on getting 2500 kills & 500 head shots with the M21. I'm about 800/100 away right now.
 
If it was one more prestige for extra slot, I'd do it. In my case, two more. That would be crazy.

P.S. I finally got the fall camo for my RPD last night. Just last night. :lol:

I've only ever got fall camo for the M21. I'm on my way to getting it a second time now on this prestige.
 
Before RPD, only two other guns I had fall camo for was ACR(my #1) & SCAR.

I've never heard of it in MW2. My CoD4 account was hacked 10th Prestige, but it permanently locked out the silencer from my P90, which was my go-to SMG. Many other challenge were permanently locked up as well, which prevents me from upgrading several guns. I really hope modders get hit by the biggest buses. Glad to hear that you can still play with everything unlocked though. If a hack abled me to at least play with everything intact, I'd be less upset.
 
Yeah I don't see anything that's gone, its really bizarre. All my friends are now lining up to make their dream classes now though haha :) and I feel like a boss running around with the 1000 multi kill title for the RPG hehe
 
I've only ever even had red tiger for the M21. Blue tiger is the most I've ever gotten with anything else before I either stop using it or hit prestige. I'm just not much of a head shot guy. I aim straight for the crotch and usually end up putting two in the chest for an easy kill.
 
I don't think I've ever gone past Urban camo before prestiging. I always tend to use a wide variety of weapons so instead of having one gun with Blue/Red Tiger or Fall I tend to have a good set of guns with Digital and Urban before hitting that button and starting over from lvl 1.

Yep I had to give MS & XBL the old "heave ho" out the window. Traded in everything I had, except for the few items friends wanted, for a new Slim.
 
I never unlocked anything above Red Tiger before a prestige. But now, at Prestige 9, I see no reason to bother with 10. I have my 5 extra classes, so I'm just unlocking attachments for all the guns now and then, I dunno, will probably be done with the game after that :lol:

You guys should see me back online here in a couple more days - I've been moving :indiff:

I moved completely, too. I was on the fence, then they raised the rates to $60, I was done.

Welp I guess you'll never receive my "M2AF" going away message that I sent just before I unplugged the thing for the last time. :lol:

Yeah I finally decided I had no interest in giving a company $60 a year to continually shove advertising in my face. Especially considering that an equivalent option exits at $0 per year and boots to a plain old boring UI. :D XBL is like many professional sports anymore... loud, obnoxious and constantly trying to peddle 🤬 for your hard earned dollar. :yuck:
 
I am at the 8th prestige because of my nephew..it took me the weekend to get the majority of perks to pro...

I had to look up "M2AF". :lol: I'm not really that sore at XBL, but I thought $50 was too much compared to free. If anything, I expected for it to come down in price, so I had to let the free market do its thing. To be honest though, when CoD4 & MW2 were getting hacked out of control on PSN, had I not sold my X360, I'd have paid the $60. When PSN went down, I wouldn't have paid $60, as I could still get my Netflix, didn't care that much about gaming. I'd have played XBL though, if I still had the thing.

Also, my friend tells me that Black Ops match making on PSN makes it just about unplayable. But he's just about the biggest Xbox fanboy I know(this day & age, I know lol), so I take it with grain of salt. :lol:
 
I could go play blops right now no problem. I bet it would take longer to start the system up and load the game than it would take to find a game online.

According to him, he mostly get crap connection. But he also says that PSN/PS3 are the worst gaming platform ever, so like I said..... :lol:

If you were asking me about doing everything over, that answer would be affirmative. Not much choice actually ;) But yeah I even had MW2 100% complete on the 360 achievement wise, won't be gunning for the same on the PS3. A few of those Spec Ops missions on Veteran were just too damn painful :ouch:. I did just polish off the SP on Vet just for grins though.

Yeah I truly despise advertising and marketing, so I'm probably in the top 0.1 percentile when it comes to intolerance for advertising. We all have something that makes us special :lol:.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with BO MM on the PS3 like TA already commented. The only legitimate technical differences I noticed between the 2 versions is that the game engine on the PS3 is just a skosh bit grainier and the PS3 drops the occasional frame here and there. Apart from that, they are identical.
 
Apparently on release there were a few things on PS3 that didn't port well from the xbox version which caused some issues for some people. I never noticed these issues myself and I have always been able to join a game with ease. The only reason I rarely play black ops is because there is no regular GTP NA group that I came so used to playing MW2 with. I joined HUPIT and I have plenty of people on my friends list to play with now but its still just not the same.

I'm pretty sure this is the "why" it's just not the same for TA. GTP crew are a special crew indeed. You could say that we are MW2 Special Forces. When Cody/Azuremen's back, we should run some TDMs. It would be so special.

Icarus, are you ever getting back online?
 
I've played with you guys so much I feel like I know all of you. Its like playing with your IRL friends when I play with you guys. We've just been playing so long. At this point I pretty much know what each of the regulars is going to be using and doing on each map at almost any point in the game. I know each of you wants to win and is going to do what it takes. Thats why I like playing with GTP NA.
 
The L86 LSW is absolute garbage without a Grip. Ten kills to unlock the Grip for the weapon was painful.
 
I think the bigger problem with the l86 is the terrible sight. I could live with just an RDS on it. Bling is the best option though if you're not like A6 spraying and praying.
