I think the bigger problem with the l86 is the terrible sight. I could live with just an RDS on it. Bling is the best option though if you're not like A6 spraying and praying.

The iron sights on the L86 do not bother me. Lately for whatever reason, I have found Red Dot and Holographic Sights distracting to keeping my aim on target.

Yeah man definitely some good games. I think the highlight of the night was the Harrier on Rundown that completely destroyed the other team. I should be on tonight around the same time.

I agree again, though I can definately see why they're a problem for alot of people but they didn't bother me to much so I ended up taking Bling off again for something else. No idea what I don't even remember the tiers now :lol:.

The L86 just has such power in it, I remember posting how much I liked it here, though I wouldn't call it a good weapon by MW2 standards it is an entertaining one at least for me.

I've played with you guys so much I feel like I know all of you. Its like playing with your IRL friends when I play with you guys. We've just been playing so long. At this point I pretty much know what each of the regulars is going to be using and doing on each map at almost any point in the game. I know each of you wants to win and is going to do what it takes. Thats why I like playing with GTP NA.

The iron sights on the L86 take a bit of adjusting. I did not like the iron sights at first, but have adjusted and find the sights usable.

I go with Sleight of Hand Pro. The faster aim down sight can be quite useful on a LMG.

The L86 has serious power; the weapon is best suited to mid range engagements. The recoil of the L86 is probably the worst of any weapon in the game, but that is part of the fun of the weapon.

The F2000 is clearly the worst recoiling weapon in the game.
 
Those were some pretty messy games tonight. I finally got my extended mags for the M21 which I've been trying for for some time now. This is the second time I've done the mastery for this gun. I'm also now down to needing 46 head shots for red tiger.

After I finished with that I took out the L86 since you guys had been talking about it. As soon as I got the grip for it I proceeded to rape face. Lots of rage quits and dropped games ensued. Good times.

I've also unlocked the AK47 again now but haven't put it on a class yet. We'll see next time I play. Possibly tomorrow. The only class I could make due without would be my F2000 class but its so fun and rewarding to use that gun sometimes.
 
The games were definitely messy, but we only had three players for most of the games and the random players we were paired with were mostly bad.

Speaking of using a weapon, I put the PP-2000 in a few classes after Prestiging and am now quite happy that I did so; before this Prestige, I never really used the PP-2000--I had maybe 25 kills prior to this Prestige--outside of an occasional pickup. For whatever reason, my aim with burst weapons has been terrible of late and that is a huge liability when using a burst weapon in close or shorter mid range encounters. The PP-2000 pairs wonderfully with the FAMAS and helps make up for my aiming deficiency in closer encounters. Though, in the games last night, I was starting to regain a feel for the FAMAS and gain some confidence in using the weapon.
 
Thanks for letting play along guys. Yeah gotta admit I contributed some to the messy procession. TA happened to catch me just as I was in the midst of doggedly trying to upgrade my USP to tac knife. Which meant for the first 3 games I was bound and determined to run-rush-die as much as needed to get those damn USP kills. At least I was going silenced and cold-blooded to help keep my deafs (sic) to a min.

Finally after starting like 1-5 on Derail I thought to myself "🤬 this, I gotta help out" and returned to a patient style that I'm much more effective with. We still won every match I was in, so that was fortunate. ;)
 
That derail game was lame. I think it was 4v4 and they were all camping the middle building hardcore.
 
Danger Close RPG, man. After few of those, they'd be running the 🤬 out of that building(more accurately, they'd all be respawning by the edge of the map). :lol:

That was the busiest Harrier I have ever seen. I didn't do much in that game and still ended up with 25+ kills, but it was all Harrier. It must've had some tasty bullets, because they kept going back for more. :p
 
I still don't get why people continue to respawn with the same class and get killed over and over by air support. As soon as I see an enemy Harrier or Chopper incoming I'll switch to a Cold Blooded Stinger class.
 
I could swear I ran into the bastard more than once. If you watch the whole video, see if a6m5zero is one of the suckers who gets blown up. :lol:

The funniest thing I've ever done in CoD was a suicide challenge in CoD4. I see two guys just standing by the shower room in Vacant? I start cooking the frag grenade around the corner, then approach those two guys.

I didn't want to alert them, so I walk slowly right up to them. They just stand there like "huh?", then boom. Challenge completed. :lol:

Exactly. It's awesome when it's your air support in the air, but you just roll your eyes when your teammates keep going back for more.

As much as I like AS for my own team, I absolutely DESPISE it for the enemy. Maybe even to an unhealthy degree :lol:. Anyway the possibility of enemy AS is a prime reason why 80% of the time I'm running some form of CB-Pro with Stingers as my 2nd-ary. Even though they don't impact me, I still love taking down Spy Planes as well. Basically anything that flies, I want it swatted to tera firma with extreme prejudice and rapidity :D.

Stingers, I think you get two shots? It's been awhile. :lol: CB-Pro, yes. But come to think of it, competition's been lacking so much lately, threat of air support aren't like how they used to be. You rarely see AC130s & Chopper Gunners anymore. I might still consider equipping stingers though.

Last night, I was playing with Azurement & Vash, but it was pretty much our worst night ever. We lost way more than we won, and while our teammates didn't help, our own individual performance were also head shrugging bad.

When you are downloading something on PS3, it doesn't turn off while playing Team Deathmatch on MW2, does it? I was experiencing some lag, but it's been so horrible lately I didn't think nothing of it. But I was downloading Little Big Planet game, part of that really glitchy(thanks SONY<-sarcasm) welcome back package while I was playing MW2.

Anyway...... We lost a bunch. And there was that one guy who kept on crying like a baby about me & Vash, because I think he said that we were camping or something? It's not like we were inside some building camping. I know I was moving, I also saw Vash moving, which make me think that he was one of those run & gun dudes who was hurting between the legs, because they kept on getting ambushed by us by taking the most predictable & obvious routes through that Quarry map.

There were other obnoxious players too. That mumbler, also the idiot who kept on using the Danger Close the entire time.

We finally got done, what, close to 5am or something? I didn't start until probably close to 3am? Where were you guys, TA, Icarus(I know, it's still broken), and that Wiener! If we had our old team, I'm certain we'd have won at least a couple more. :lol:

Edit: Nevermind. I just read in another thread that downloading stops automatically when you start a game. I guess it was my DSL. :O
 
My buddy got married yesterday so I went out to the lake to wish him well before he leaves on his honeymoon. I might be on later today though.

A6 and I definitely were called campers after one match on Quarry by a guy name Lagger220 or some name along those lines; I threw up the tag of "tent" after he a called me camper just to annoy the guy even more. I moved around a bunch in that particular game; spawns kept getting flipped because the other team was all too in a hurry to seek out our team. Had the guy been better able to express himself, I think he would have complained more about me being a smart player and waiting to ambush him and his teammates at a choke point, as him and his teammates presented plentiful ambush opportunities by constantly running to choke points.

Even though it was mostly bad results, I enjoyed playing until 7:00 in the morning, after starting around 4:30 in the morning. My bad play was mostly down to my aim just being a hair slow and a hair off. I am also limited with what class changes I can make at the moment because of Prestiging. I cannot easily adapt in game with the use of Cold Blooded when UAVs are constantly being thrown up or shooting down air support with Stingers; utilizing Cold Blooded to negate both UAVs and air support are a huge part of my tactics and not having Cold Blooded makes my shortcomings as a player all the more apparent. Also before this Prestige, I was working Suppressed weapons hard and last night, I only had a Suppressor unlocked for the PP-2000; while the PP-2000 is a fantastic weapon, it is limited compared to a Suppressed SCAR-H or ACR.
 
If you guys play again tonight, and I mean that literally not late Sunday morning :lol:, I will gladly take point on foot mobile SAM duties :D.

True. I hate losing my established classes. That's why I never prestige. :D

On that crying little 🤬 that's right, he kept crying something about spawn, but I didn't know what the heck he was talking about. One thing I was completely sure, he was crying about nothing. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Nothing. Let's say I camped by the staircase the entire game, and that's all I did. No grown man should be crying to tears about it the entire break. He was getting all emotional about it like he just lost something critical in his life for god sake. I don't know, his *tear* session just rubbed me the wrong way. Grown man crying about perfectly normal TDM session like a little girl who lost her puppy..... Be half a man, move on!

Anyway.......

Yeah, if TA, icelt, anybody want to play, I just need to get this bad taste out of my mouth of losing trend. What time do you guys want to hook up? We should set up time where we can all be on the team.
 
I started throwing together a decent game last right before we quit, I think. I am struggling with the stereo speakers on the TV I've setup at the moment. Really need to get my 5.1 back up and running so I can figure out where the hell everyone is, since I normally soundwhore like a boss.

Yeah I should be. I am going to use MW2 to blow off steam from SC2 once I start training for MLG, so this could be amusing :lol:
 
I too use 5:1 for my advantage. It makes it so much easier.
 
I can't remember if my Trittons are 5.1 or 7.1 but either way they're pretty good at what they do.
 
Can you not, you know, look at them? ;) I really should get on with you guys at some point.
