I use 10 sensitivity. 1.03 k/d right now, thanks to playing non-hardcore games and my classes being horrible for them. 13% accuracy or so. Just hit level 50 last night.

I can't use any Akimbo weapons either...I'm too used to aiming down the sight.

Your sensitivity is CRAZY. I dont understand people who can play with 10, it is sooooooo touchy. GTP_Pete uses 10 aswell, I dont think I can, sniping must be hard.

When the sensitivity is up high, the speed aiming down the sights/scope isn't any faster, only the hip aiming is, so you only have to be precise when hip-firing, and you get used to the speed quite fast.

Just went 27-7 at Wasteland on HCTDM with Christhedude (GTP_Chris), new killstreak record is 21!

Moved around the map and got a predator missile, then shot a sniper to get the harrier, and it got me up to 11 kills and I used the Chopper gunner to get another 10 kills, needless to say the other team was obliterated and half of them left (we actually started out 5vs6 and ended up 4vs3)

I think the increased amount of air-attack killstreaks is forcing more and more people to camp in fear of just getting wasted by choppers and Harriers over and over again. 👎

If you are on a half-way decent team, doesn't have to be a good team, you should be able to shoot those suckers down very quickly.

In CoD4, I feared the choppers. If you are on a good team, everybody will work together to shoot it down. But if you are on a average-to-poor team, chopper will shoot you, everybody will take turn killing you while you are trying to shoot down the chopper. Don't get me started on RPG. I never figured that thing out.

In MW2, however, I don't find them to be much of a problem in TDMs. I tried to keep Stinger or Javelin as my secondary when I can. And even if I can't, I will have at least one class with an anti-air in the pocket. They kill me, I start with that class, shoot the thing down. It's just so damn easy, especially with the Stinger. I'm getting pretty good with Javelin as well. And Javelin can be used on land target, which is a bonus. That thing is so cool, sometimes, I fire it at the area where I think they are going to be, or where fire fight just took place. It's a long shot, but 1) it's super fun to shoot. 2) you do get lucky once in awhile, grab couple of kills.

Another thing is that I use the Coldblooded in couple of my classes. Choppers and Sentries totally ignore me if I'm using them, or if I switch to those classes.

Really, in MW2, choppers are the least of my problems.

I do OK with the older controller, DS2 I think? I don't like the rumble feature anyway? I have it turned off on my X360 controller.

My only gripe with the controllers are the melee attack, but it's not all controllers. Melee to me is bit glitchy in CoD.

P.S. I think you passed one of my buddies' streak. He had the highest for awhile, I think 35.

My K/D ratio is 1.32 after I played 3rd person for a night. I was at 1.4+ but I'm getting back. My accuracy is 14.98%, which is weird because usually also burst unless someone scares me . I didn't know you could select sensitivity so I'm going to play around with that.

Second prestige, I thought I was a bit addicted
I just got my level 70 and I'll stay there for a long long time. For now, I have a 2.96 K/D ratio with a 39 killstreak and an accuracy of 18 % which is a huge improvement from COD4 (9.95 %) and my sensibility is set to default setting.(3 if I'm right)

I actually like High Rise for sniping. There are some prime spots if you like using the tactical insertion, as they require some effort to get to them. Thus I have my "Get into Position" class - M4A with ACOG, USP, Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando, with Tactical Insertion.

I've been finding out that when you get the maps down, you could snipe on just about any maps. You just need to position yourself in good spots, and maybe claymores watching your back.

OK, I don't know what the hell is going on, but I've been experiencing a whole new problem that I never encountered on CoD4, and am seeing it for the first time on MW2: I shoot at the target, the bullets disappear! It's not hitting the target, it's not missing and hitting something else. Even in a small room, I fire 3, 4 bullets into the guy, they don't hit ANYTHING. They simply does not register. Of course the guy shoots me back, after I emptied half a clip, and I drop dead.

It's making it simply impossible to play. It's on & off, but does happen enough during a match, I'm not even coming out with 1-1 ratio at this point.

Wasteland is great for sniping too. I agree, the WA2000 is the sniper of choice, lots of one shot, one kill, less recoil than the Barrett and more powerful than the M14.

I finally got thermal scope for the sniper rifle of my choice(it's early yet!), M21. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I've picked up something else. I just hope it's not the swine flu.

I had to turn my Xbox off as soon as I got the damn scope. I think I'm gonna throw up.

I finally got to try out MW2 last night, man im gonna be lovin it as soon as i get my breakbox 360 back. Graphics are much better as is the draw distance. I really wish i had a HD tv now and not my old non HD blur box.

I like to play Demolition, if you are on the winning team for one round you get 3000 points match bonus. Add your kills to that and win both rounds and you get decent points but the real point mode is S and D. You just have to be going good that night to get any decent points. Sometimes you come out badly but 1 kill is still 500 points. What I cant wait for it the first double XP weekend, that should hopefully be soon and 1k a kill will just be awesome.

Legendary: I made my av myself after seeing all the people with the Photoshop style ones. I felt like being similar but different at the same time. Plus I got tired of Boota from TTGL. I made a similar one for my Playstation Underground forums av.


My KDR has gone up slowly to .9 (I'm awesome I know) It started out real bad because of not really playing a CoD a ton on PS and running into high levels when I first started. I have good days and bad days, and one horrible day of Domination drops me .01-.03. I haven't looked at my accuracy lately but last I saw it was around 17% and my sensitivity is at 3, one above default medium. I tried higher but it was too touchy when scoped in with the ACOG or snipers. I'm like halfway to level 58.

Im halfway to level 52 now. I was owning on HC S&D about an hour ago. I encountered one of the most persistent noobish campers in that lobby though. Everyone on our team (he was on our team) was telling him to stop camping and so was the enemy team, I mean seriously, imagine how much you have to camp to get your own winning team against you. He would sit in the corner of a room in a pot plant or at the corner of the map and whenever someone walked past it would take him 10 shots to kill (horrible accuracy) but he would manage. Crazy stuff that guy.

Well I'm making progress with the FAL. Quite like it for some reason, not sure yet though why. Just unlocked the ACOG, which means it has completely replaced the M4A in my setups.

Sitting closer to 0.9 now for my KD, half way to level 34.

I really want the tactical knife bit for my pistol - I get Switchblade in almost every game I am in. Anywhere I can check how many of my kills are from the knife?

If you have k/d average of .9, I think you are decent. Actually, although I'm closer to 2, in most cases, I'm not much better, maybe not at all better than players with k/d between .9 to 1.5ish. It's just that 1) I play team deathmatches(k/d is critical) 2) I realize my limitations, so I take it easy.

Yeah, I picked up one of those babies on Afghan, and that's when I started to use the sniper rifles. Initially, I thought sniping was too hard in this game, but while working through Barret(don't have thermal yet) and M21, I'm starting to enjoy it a bit. Especially in Hardcore. I have hell of a lot easier time sniping in Hardcore.

Correct. It works rather well because it keeps me from unloading clips, and the FAL is fairly accurate while still having a good rate of fire... Plus you just develop an understanding of the recoil and your finger magically times each pull of the trigger.

However, the AUG is becoming more of a mainstay as well. I initially had it setup to an anti-air class, but now that I have the silencer for it, it is on my stealth as well. The penetration on it is great, nothing quite like guessing where someone is and unloading a clip to let them know.

I'm yet to even try an LMG. I started out with the SMG default class whatever it's name is before you could do customs then stuck with the UMP for a bit before moving to the M4A1 and getting most of it's challenges done. Then I hit the SCAR and have done everything but 2 camos. Now I'm on the ACR which I'm not a big fan of. It needs Stopping Power but I hate giving up Cold Blooded. The protection from helis, harriers and sentry guns keeps me alive longer.

The ACR to me is only good for Hardcore unless you have stopping power, as without it, you're using up the entire clip in 2 guys. In hardcore mode however, it seems to be the weapon of choice for many players as it's fairly accurate (even at range) and less recoil (IMO) than the SCAR.

I may or may have not posted this already, but here's my "Ghost" setup, and it's what I mainly use:

ACR + Holographic Sight + Silencer (Bling Pro)
M1014 or AA-12 (I'm trying to decide between the two currently)
Cold Blooded Pro
Ninja Pro
Frag Grenade + 2x Flash Grenade
5 Kills: Predator
7 Kills: Harrier Airstrike
11 Kills: Chopper Gunner
Or if I'm playing with noobs I change out Predator for Tactical Nuke, I'm still trying to get the nuke before I'm nuked myself, I was close yesterday with the group I was playing in with Christhedude, if I had only been one level higher and hadn't gotten killed by making a stupid decision

Actually, I am not sure I think that at our level you get 3000 for winning in TDM anyway, the difference is that the time can be alot shorter in demoltion. Try a couple of rounds and see what you think. Remember, demolition not domination.

Yes, I have used the Tar-21 ever since I unlocked it at around level 20. I use stopping power pro, commando pro and bling pro with it also. My finger automatically knows the hit combination till kill someone. I see them and I shoot two bullets in succession and wait around a 1/4 of a second before shooting the final bullet, that 1/4 of a second gives me time to see if they will die or not. I know 3 bullets will kill so if I have to wait for lag I do not shoot anymore bullets and they will die with a delay. This way my accuracy goes up fairly quickly. If you guys want, try the Tar - 21, I have holographic sight and it is crazy good.

I just played for twenty minutes. Found a ten minute game where I scored 1 for 5, so I'm getting better with the controller. Yep, only one kill. All I'm good for is camping, and you know how I feel about that, and waiting for a guy to come running up to me. Didn't happen that much, because everybody else was camping. Great tactic I'm left with, until my controller gets fixed.

The other ten minutes was waiting to play a second game. Never happened. Done.

This game just keeps getting worse.
