Can any cars do wheelies in gt5?

okay, you can't argue with a dictionary meaning, but... I'd like to clarify from the real racing worlds definition of wheelie.... "Pullin a wheelie"= wheelie happening under power supplied to rear wheel(s), "Riding a wheelie"= wheelie happening at the balancing point of the vehicle, "Standing a wheelie"-or- "Wheel standing"= performing a wheelie with the assistance of an attached wheelie bar...... 'Nuf said.:)
 
yes you can wheelie, my shellby wheelie in 2nd gear.

you can only wheelie offline

Skid recovery must be on... all other assist off

use a manual gearbox, in 2nd gear get to its tip speed, slam on brakes till 30 mph. then give full gas, it will lift up, shift when you hit high revs
 
Ya there is a tune for a lotus to do it. It's awesome cause it does it perfectly and also drives on the side two wheels around every corner

I was gonna say, if any car in GT5 can do this, it would have to be the Shelby Cobra.

Taking it around Nordschleif and playing with the suspension tuning, I couldn't help but notice that with Racing Soft tyres, the front just wants to lift off everytime I start exiting a corner, effectively giving me major understeer. Switching to a more realistic tyre fixed this, but yeah.. when the Cobra has grip, it just wants to lift.
 
So, it's still : No you can't do wheelies in Gt5.

As in, take off wheelies.

Except in a Lotus hahaha.

It's not a wheelie if it's caused by a jump. A real wheelie is when the car is stopped you give it gas and the 2 front wheels come off the ground.
 
Yeah, I know. But it's almost legit. Almost.

This isn't a drag racing game where you want to have all the torque and power off the line. It's a circuit racing game where cars are designed for handling and precision cornering. Most street cars in real life don't do wheelies without some heavy modification and power added.
 
Can anyone who claims a wheelie show a proper video, with the car standing completely stationairy for at least 3 seconds, and then pop a wheelie?
