Make sure you turn off fault and caution or chances are you will be out of the race. ROCK ON and good luck.
Well that's a new one, referring to the post I made about the time posted after the race out to lunch. I never had this bug yet. What platform you racing on?
That might not be a bug. It is possible to win a championship by running more consistent then the competition.
Ok you have a good point but I never come across this one I will keep me eye open on this one Thanks for answering.
This. Four different AI drivers won and I had 3 podiums and a fourth. I just scored more points. Was happy.
The website won't even load up. I tried on my phone browser and my computer and neither loaded.Btw the computer I use is old. From like 2004 or 05 I think. But thanks though.
So season five and I'm up to GT3. Decided to go American to switch tracks up a bit and went with the Ginetta.
I am about to start my 24 Hours of Le Mans event. I will check in periodically. Wish me and my team luck. 3 Hour edit: My roommate is in the car. We have a 6 minute lead. Weather looks clear into the night. Final Edit: The game crashed.
Still in LMP3. Only my second season in this class and I got everything done. US and UK cup done and the Euro championship is done. Just gotta win the euro championship again so I make sure I get some contract offers. Been doing some invitational events which has been a blast Like I said before I really wanna get a contract to WEC. Man just taking a look at my career so far I got a long way to go before I get everything complete. And I'm like 21 seasons in.
Sorry to hear that, dude. If you are on PS4, maybe its better to wait with endurance races until they fixed the PS4 crashes, I know they are a high priority fix right now. Did you send the report to Sony?
So I win the formula gulf championship and I get no contracts? Wtf? Sigh... Now I gotta do this again. Forget this I'm about to lower the race distance down. I shouldn't have to do this over again. Leaving the difficulty at 88% but that race distance is going down. Luckily formula gulf only has 4 races in total.
I just started my career today at kart class. Does anybody remember the first invitation event with the Ford Focus RS at rainy conditions?! The car was floating like crazy and I had to turn the wheel pretty hard. I use ffb settings from this website: http://pcars.oscarolim.pt Other cars I set up with these settings worked fine so far. Especially karts. My hands are still hurting!
That looks like a good site, thanks for sharing. I pretty much just make my own FFB settings up now (which started off as the original Jack Spades settings) such as for the new BMW 320, which i'm very happy with, the ones on that site looks way different to mine. I think generally the Master Scales are all higher than what i have for my cars as I don't like to feel like I've had a workout after a race lol. Can't help you with the Focus as I haven't taken it out for a spin yet
Yeah. There is no setting that suits all, I know. I try not to stick to one source only. Do you have a link to general ffb settings by jack spades?! Maybe I can tweak some things...
If you click in that 'configuration' box for any car a list of 5 different settings comes up. They're the Spades ones, yeah? I can't even remember which one he did first but perhaps 'classic'? I think just lowering the master scale and SoP scale makes the wheel lighter. I'm all for bumps and suchlike, I just like to not be fighting the wheel, and i know SMS's default settings are ridiculous in that regard.
have you seen this site maybe their is a good ford focus set up for you http://projectcarssetups.eu/#/bycar
Anyone still playing career? GT4 main race @ Watkins glen driving the GT4 beemer. Qualified 9th so I was in the middle of the big pile up on the first corner, took it easy and came out 8th. Work my way up to 7th and on lap 3 AI cuts the grass and pushes me into the barrier causing damage. Pushed on but was losing too much lap time so decided to change tactic, pit early, put on hard tyres and hopefully last the rest of the 28 laps, picking up some places when others made their mandatory pit stop. So I pit in on lap 7 and request hard tyres and fix damage... oh, I get softs... but it didn't matter anyway because 4 laps later I get called in for my MANDATORY pit stop!!! I'd got it all wrong and should have waited a few more laps for my tactics to pay off. I stayed out until lap 20, climbing my way up to a respectable 6th before boxing for my mandatory, shouting at my pit crew to hurry up as I watch most of my competitors zoom by. "There's a problem with the gear box, we're working on it" What do you mean a problem with the gearbox? You were only supposed to be changing the tyres!!! I rejoin the race dead last, pushing hard in the last 8 laps I ended up finishing in 12 place... 0 points. However I enjoyed the battle just as much as if I'd lead from the front and won the race. On a side note, does anyone know if the AI suffer from tyre degradation, dropping lap times etc, or do they just set a consistent time throughout the race?
Nope. Suspended until the horrendous crashes are finally fixed. I m in WEC now, I straight up refuse to drive 2 hr+ races if the game can crash any second. Yes, I think so. I know that they are slower at the beginning until their tires are warmed up and I know that they suffer from tire wear as well. How much and if the effect actually works, I have no idea.
Here I'm just very busy with other stuff at the moment, so I don't find the time to play. That' why I haven't touched the 4.0 update yet and don't how bad it really is. However I haven't had a single issue with crashes, landmines and other unwanted features so far, so I don't see a reason to not go on with my career once I'll be free again.
