Ive noticed that since he took over that car from Michael Andretti, he has started to dominate.

Is this because Michael Andretti isnt that good anymore or because of the Newman-Haas team switching to Toyota engines?

No i think its because cart's beginning to suck with only 18 cars in the field, and competition is gone.

How long do you think CART will last?

Three days.

As a series and stock, CART is going to be around for a while yet. It will however be in a reduced form from even where it is today.

Next year there will only be Cosworth turbo engines, although they will cost only 1.5mil annually to lease, down from the 4.5mil plus per season that it is today. Additionally, CART is paying a bonus to all teams that participate, to the tune of 1.2 mil.

CART will actually be cheaper to run then IRL next year. There will be some turnover in teams this year, and it will be interesting to see who steps up to the table next year. Plus we have yet to find out the details of the individual/consortium that has been quietly buying up CART stock, to the tune of 20% to 30% of the float in the last couple of months.

I used to really like CART, but it really has gone downhill these past two seasons.
