Chrome Paint

I've had this game about a couple of weeks after the release date, and been playing ever since. And I still haven't received chrome paint. I don't understand what you need to do in order to receive the paint chip...

Or go to the marketplace, and trade for it.

Hey, I had the same issue... 400 cars in garage and still no chromes, so looked up how to get chromes without trading etc.

You get horn+special paint with every multiple 30 cars, eg. at 30, 60, 90 etc.

So when it states at the home screen 'Horn #_ Won and Special Paint...' don't press OK if you are not happy with said paint chip.

Exit the game before pressing OK; upon reloading you get the same message but a different paint.

I tried it for the first time at 420 cars, and on first reload got a silver chrome.

It's possible to get chrome paint by golding the karting special event.

Nice vette, for some reason I can't get it to 900 hp. I rebuilt the engine, tuned it to the max, and changed the oil. Its stuck at 840-something

Yeah chromes are given out really random for every 30 cars. I have over 900 cars in my garage still no silver chrome, got a gold around 600.

They should have made it an unlockable if you reach a certain level, something like that. Not luck of the draw...
