Did have a good picture - that looked almost exactly the same as one previously posted! Can't think of anything else this week so the following will have to suffice:

And we knew that how? :boggled: Why don't you try a rear wheeled car with high torque since you want to lose traction and try turning the wheels at high speed. 👍 You are trying to lose traction in a 4wd car known for its traction abilities.

You'd think with a low grip surface like snow, the car would naturally move around a lot.

Driving in the snow is weird. two full laps at chamonix full in a stock STi '07 and i never got sideways. maybe i was being too cautious? :?

Okay, I have a bunch of pics ready, now I just need to choose which I'll enter... but someone PLEASE tell me... How do I post a thumbnail and how would I resize the image if necessary? Also, my web filter blocks all of the major picture-sharing sites, so would something like Facebook be an appropriate way to host my picture?

Has it been said to iced16, there is a sticky thread on the competition subforum, explaining everything you need to know about competitions and how to submit your entry in them. Not sure how you can share your pictures in GTP with Facebook, but you can always try GTP albums. If you have any more doubts, feel free to send me a P.M.

Competition News Update:

I'll be taking the reigns for the next two weeks while Nicknamealguem has a busy schedule. So any questions about rules can be directed this way. Also, Judges will be receiving PM's from me about themes and poll choices. Everything will be as per the usual besides that, though!

I was going for the 'dry ice rock stage' effect, hope it worked ok
 
Edited my entry so the image shows. The image link to Flickr would not work, so I changed to Photobucket and is all good now.
