I don't understand the need for a separate reverse button. PD could have at least given us the option of using it or not.
They did give you the option, go and take another look at it and don't come back before you haven't found it.I don't understand the need for a separate reverse button. PD could have at least given us the option of using it or not.
Engine sounds? Gearing has nothing to do with the engine sound, what the heck are you talking about?Yes, there's no excuse. It would also bring more life to the engine sounds (if modeled properly).
Why ignoring the digicross?I guess if GT6 got rid of a seperate reverse button & made it part of the gear shift, you could add one.
What I would like is for the auto-clutch to be slowed down to the speed most race car drivers shift, give the G27 users a chance.
As in an option to shift to reverse through L2 and R2. You know, just like how you change all the other gears. They did give you the option, go and take another look at it and don't come back before you haven't found it.

You wrote to use it or not. That above is another thing. As in an option to shift to reverse through L2 and R2. You know, just like how you change all the other gears.
Wow... you just saw how wrong you are.wow...
I wasn't criticising opinions, I was correcting wrong statements or in hobanator's case questioning why he left out something elementary. That's a clear difference, I hope you can see this.Hey slump, don't go criticizing others, just put in your opinion and that's enough.

EDIT: Anyway, why do you think criticisms is generally a bad thing?
Because it doesn't help people - Constructive criticism is helpful.
So your logic says that constructive criticism is no criticism? Yeah ehm...Because it doesn't help people - Constructive criticism is helpful.
Wow... you just saw how wrong you are.
I thought that you would see it on your own, so with your logic, gearing has nothing to do with how beautiful this video is. Please listen:
You can differ between transmission and engine? You know what the difference is?
The answer to the original question stays the same, gearing has nothing to do with engine sound.
Refering to the video you just posted: I can hear the shifts, I can hear the engine reving up due to the shifts. BUT the engine sound itself doesn't change.
The real problem is that you don't see the difference between car sounds and engine sounds.Ok then, let's remove all the sound sources and leave the engine alone, how would that sound to you? Every little component adds to the entire symphony. An exhaust is just a tube of metal, it sure doesn't do anything to the way the car sounds , It's pointless trying to discuss with you about sound when you don't understand the basics. Goodbye

Sadly it's not.The real problem is that you can't understand generalism, FYI, "engine sounds" is the common way to describe them.
