Blech, DRM is here to stay. I'll stick with buying my 13 dollar CDs. What ****ty technology.

I'll consider buying music online when I can purchase lossless WAV files.

the aac files from itunes.com are lossless because the source data came directly from the studio equipment, not cd...when u downsample something with studio quality @ 128kbit/sec, u will reach cd quality audio. when u downsample the cd to 128kbit/sec, u get heavy loss...u know what i mean? the source file is everything here

oh...i'm only using itunes as an example since the names of their competitors don't come to mind rite now. any good site will have similar quality but in the wma format. both are secure, both are as good as eachother but people i know seem to prefer aac for whatever reason they may have.
