Yeah, I can't stand people that are like 'why did that cobra even try from a roll? You know they get wiped'. Some people like to have fun, and if it weren't for those people, we wouldnt have these kinds of videos.

You havent been around that much then I see. I see when some import bashes on domestic but they dont do it to the extreme. There is this one domestic kid, he diss on every import. That is why he got his ass banned.

You make a good point. I havn't been on here very long, so perhaps I came in on the tail end of some domestic guys being asses. I know the import side takes a lot of crap sometimes.

There you go. That's the dyno sheet of the "1,000hp Supra." It's a Boostlogic 67mm P-trim turbo(BL67) @22psi on 91 pump using methanol injection.

Well I guess its not... but from the site I got this from they were saying its somewhere near the 1000hp mark.

Where did you get it?

That car belongs to a member on Supraforums. His name on there is B-man. There's another video floating around of him racing a black Apten ported '03 Cobra with 508rwhp.

Maybe it's close to 1000HP at sea level? I think it's about a 25% HP loss at Denver's altitude compared to sea level.

Effect of Altitude on Horsepower,

The following is an example calculator:
http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm

Constants used:
----------------
Air Temp: 80 F (median for Denver in summer)
Barometric Pressure: 29.96 (standard)
Dew Point: 50 F (about normal for Colorado)

Elevation in Feet - Relative HP

0 - 101.2%
500 - 99.0%
1000 - 96.9%
2000 - 92.8%
3000 - 88.8%
4000 - 85.1%
5000 - 81.4% <------Denver is a little higher than this.
6000 - 78.0%
7000 - 74.6%
8000 - 71.4% <------I live at this altitude. :grumpy:
9000 - 68.4%
10000 - 65.4%
11000 - 62.6% <----I frequently drive at this elevation.
12000 - 59.9%
13000 - 57.2%
14000 - 54.7%

It would be in the 700's at most. 25% is a LOT, though. That would mean that the Apten ported Eaton car in the other videos puts out 635rwhp at sea level(508 in CO). That's KB/Whipple/Procharger territory. Hell, for me to have gotten 635rwhp I would have had to have added a 100-150 shot, or JDM stage 3 cams, an Apten ported blower, and a small 40-50 shot.

High altitude blows.

Yeah, it would put him around 737HP at sea level. Far from 1000.

You're speaking Greek again.

You don't have to tell me about it. :grumpy:

Whoops. That's a side affect of hanging around too many '03 Cobra websites. I start speaking their jibberish. I broke some **** on the car the other day, and told my Dad about it over the phone. After I got finided rambling weird crap like that, he was like, "So, uhh, what the hell does that mean?"

Yes, I do. Hopefully if I tell you a bajillion times you'll move your ass down from up there.

 I sometimes do the same thing when people (non-chef's) ask me for a recipe. I get WAY too technical and at the end they are just like, :scared:
