Correct, I doubt I'll be able to retrieve the password to easily as well now to as I lost that with the old PS3 Edit: Got that password but I still won't be using it much. Regardless I rarely used it so delete that and add my normal account if you like 👍

Sorry I couldn't hang about much on Dirt 2 tonight Race, I went off to spend some time with my girlfriend so I wasn't back for a fair while and you'd gone when I returned. Good few races though 👍.

I've had Dirt 2 loaded in my PS3 for several weeks now, like it a lot, but don't have as much time to hit X and go as often as I'd like. Have a fair amount of offline experience with the game, but just a smidgen online so far. That (no) time thing again, sigh.

Has anybody tried Dirt 2 - PS3 version with the Fanatec Turbo S Wheel ?

I have found the feedback to be very weak with maxed out FF settings, i.e. when landing from a jump there is no FF.

Just broke my DIRT2 online virginity with Aldo and Dragonistic (I know that sounds wrong, maybe it needs a D&B re-mix with gunshots?), much fun. I shall dare to go in to the Pro Tour bit at some point, but very enjoyable, apart from the Croatia races...

On a more serious note, Pro Tour attracts people who like to shunt if given the chance, take any shortcut and such, basically do anything to win. As soon as I got the trophies from getting to rank 15 and 30, I have never been back.

Kind of what I'm looking for, really. Reading back, I could just stick to Rally/Trailblazer in Pro Tour, seeing as it's more difficult to shunt in those modes.

Impossible to hit in ranked TB/Rally, it's a simultaneous start with ghosts, I get irritated at the people who take ridiculous shortcuts abusing gaps in the borders though. That and the Trailblazer events are dominated by Dallenbachs which are a little overpowered in the class (faster and easy to drive compared to the others). It's not bad, but alot hangs on which lobby it puts you in.

I got fed up with the online, just stuck to Time Trials on Rally in the end. I played it with the controller as I didn't have a steering wheel at the time doh!! will wait for Dirt 3 as hopefully they will focus more on the rally.

Just slog it out until you are up to level 30. Try and get some of the challenges done as well.

So what's the best thing to do in the Public area?

Beat Dallenbach's with a "regular" Trailblazer car. I always had fun doing that. But I guess nowadays there's mainly drivers that have driven this game almost a year and it might be harder.

Clearly the banter subject is most distracting for you whilst I still run fine even when laughing at the Antiques Roadshow Drum 'n' Bass mix, it would be interesting to see how you'd actually run if you weren't distracted by youtube so often .

Spent an hour and a half in Rally/T-Blazer in ranked this morning. Quite good fun, mostly near the back of the pack but came 2nd in China once.

The Dallenbach, when do you unlock that? I came close the Solstice at hurrah Pass at beating them, beat 2 iirc.

You need to do the Trailblazer World Tour for the Dallenbach. Also, for the benefit of everyone else who doesn't have or want to use the Dallenbach, the Solstice is excellent in trailblazer trim (the only way it's good ) and it's more fun and challenging I find.

Excellent carnage on track I mean errr... super clean and tidy racing . Next time I'm hosting Trophy Trucks and the little Toyota is banned so we race the big manly trucks on small rallycross tracks Just what Aldo would like, more chaos.
