still have my original copy from ps1 near my ps4. the only original game i kept from ps1. good old memories! i feel so old now T_T
I still have all my old ps1 and ps2 games it nice sometimes just turning on the old consoles and playing.

Fixed that one for you. ;) There weren't any Fabias in the 1990's, methinks.

Speaking of this game, I also have good memories of it. Back when I first played, I knew jack about rally, and it showed. Now, I know a bit more and the game got that extra bit of fun. It's as tricky and as harsh as TOCA 2, but I don't mind that much. Also, top job with the videos @evanzo7, you seem to be having a great time repeating the stages and playing the game.

Oh I am! Loved the old games from Codemasters!

I only have one old game from Codemasters, but I like it. TOCA 2 is incredibly harsh compared to the modern racing games, but it is good for a PS1 racing game. The Touring Car racing in that game was solid, and all the one make cups taught you how to drive many different cars. And does Colin Mcrae, I wish I had a pyhsical copy myself to play it...

The original Toca was pretty tough as well! Enjoyable games though!

Never played the first Toca game, so I can't attest the veracity of that statement. But hey, they are fun games, as you've said.

If you can find it somewhere it is worth a purchase, great game, spent hours of my childhood on it!

It only took me about 10 years or so of playing this game to actually realize that I did better with the Escort and Corolla instead of the Lancer and Impreza that I had exclusively used for years.

Of course, it is an Escort after all! ;)

I just use it because it is a beautiful looking car, even in pixels like this!

Final Race in Greece!

I will be moving onto Monaco soon! :)

Damn it. Now I have a massive urge to play this game but have no access to a disc to play at the moment.

Seeing this thread has brought back a lot of memories for me. Thank you. :)

New video out today!

By chance does anyone else do a youtube series on this, would love to see other peoples takes?

You should consider doing a couple videos from the first person view in game.

Phew, glad it's not the "remake"!

I tried that before starting the series but I didn't find it as comfortable but I will in future games because I remember that is how I played them back in the day.

Final stages in Monaco!

Here is Australia!

Stage 3 & 4 in Oz!

So the early access for the new DiRT is here but since I can't play it I have continued playing the original codemasters rally game! :)

Final Stage in Australia!

Still playing this since I can't play DiRT Rally! :P

Sweden... I am more familiar with the Colin Mcrae 2.0 version of it, but it should be an interesting new insight on those snowy stages...

Corsica was always one of my favorite places in the game. Fast and technical. It was always fun when done right but brutal when someone got it wrong.
