Oh why is that? What else could it be? :P

General maintenance for all we know. While I do believe that we may see the inclusion of the car, I'm not getting my hopes up just to save for the chance we don't get it.

Again, giving us the test car and then not the real car would just be idiotic. It's coming. Patience.

Well PD has made some pretty idiotic decisions before.

That said I'm not putting it past them to include it.

I wouldn't doubt that we'll get the full C7. Whether it's in the next few days, we'll have to wait and see. Considering the car was just unveiled, PD would have done a quick job modeling it to have it ready now.

Who's to say they werent working with the finished car months ago to get a model done in time?

I have no idea if PD have been modelling it or not, and I'm not saying either way.

You obviously don't understand how a sensible debate works. It's not for me to disprove they haven't been modeling it for months. It's for you to prove they have been.

Now produce evidence to back up your assertion.

My statement was that if they have modeled it in time to be released in the next few days into the game, they have done an amazing job.

I just hope PD's handling of the Top Gear license is not an indication of how they will handle Chevy, this Corvette specifically. I believe Chevy is more aware of their image than PD is and is orchestrating everything with this car.

That's what everyone said before we got the "Car Pack 4"

I wonder which one will it be Stingray or Z51?

To me, that implies they haven't had long to work on it when really, no one knows how long they've had. I wasn't trying to prove they've been working on it for months. Just the way your original comment came across...

On the basis that in GT5P, the hatchback STI and the R35 GT-R were released in-game without disguise on the same day the real cars were being revealed. In fact, they were released simultaneously along with the real cars.

Based on the article above, GM confirmed it to be released in GT5 tomorrow, the 14th.

I doubt it will be at midnight but supposedly at some point tomorrow.

They've more than likely had access to the real car months ago. When you get into an exclusive release like GM has with PD for this car, you get access to it long before anyone else.

There are enough obvious angles underneath the dust cover on the in game prototype to suggest that PD has the modelling well and truly done eg. the angular ridge sitting back from the front wheel arch at the bottom of the door is quite obvious underneath the cover, now that we've seen the real thing. You don't just make up a panel feature like that if you haven't already had access.

This. You guys should know that they can't model a car in a day or two... Seriously... seriously

Seriously, GM would let anyone have access to the car as long as you signed a piece of paper saying that they can sue you for millions of dollars if you even so much as tell someone what the carpet is made out of.

If its the same kind of carpet everyone else is using, then is it really a secret?
