I'll be out for this one since hatred for the nordschleife holds a special place in my heart and driving on it with anything more than 250hp is like Chinese water torture.

Unfortunately I can't make this @knukken although the time would have worked for me if it wasn't for a friend's big birthday party.

Good luck to everyone. I used to dislike racing on the track in Gran Turismo but much prefer it in Project Cars. It has a much better sense of the scale of the track and gradient changes. Although it's not laser scanned I think it does use CAD data from the track themselves. Also some of the WMD members went to the track and measured exact details from sections like the Carousel to make sure the track was as accurate as possible.

We had a great night about 6 months ago when @zakspeed organised an hour long race on the Nordschleife in the Zakspeed Capri. We had so many entrants we needed two rooms.

enduro's are getting longer i notice,.... and this one is during daytime,...

I can not make it, have to work saturdays :scared:

on a small sidenote; I love the track,. but 3 hours is too much for me, and i only race after +- 1730

@HP is in Australia so we are trying to do a daytime event. 3 hours might be too long for most peple. I'm open to change it if HP want to
 
After doing 2 hour race at an "easy" track tonight I suggest we change this to a 2 hour race and do a 3 hour race later this year.

@HP is hosting this and it's only 6,5 days away. What do you think and what kind of race do you want this to be? Day? Night? Rain? Dry? Thunderstorm? Let us know so we can post it on fb and update this thread.
 
dang..... I forgot about the festivities here this time of year....probably won't make it. Just when i got down to the 8:40s

if this is cancelled i would like to change it too a 1 hour race at nords combined in the radical 8 ,... starting at 2000 uk time!?!?!?
 
No! Stick with the original plan! We do one hour races most nights, nothing enduro about 1 hour!

Good combo though...
 
i said 1 hour so we can do more fun stuff than just 1 race and then go offline,....
 
But isn't the point to this thread an enduro? I have no problem with doing that but we can't call a 1 hour race an enduro...
