ATB, Faithless, Metallica, Coldplay, Moby, Röyksopp and a lot of vocal trance, like "Beautiful
Things" and "Speak In Sympathy".
 
Hai guys sorry but I am really looking forward to this game as are you guys :-D sadly I am a bit of a Biff when it comes to anything other than putting the disc in the machine. How do i put music onto my PS3?

You can put the music files on a thumb drive and upload it to the PS3 using the USB slots.

Personally, I'm going to turn off the music while racing, but if we can customise the menu/pre-race music as well, my soundtrack will contain mostly rock and numetal...
Powerman5000, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, AC/DC and the like.

You can also copy CDs onto the PS3 hard drive.
 
This may have been posted already i this thread but any links to all the tracks from GT1,2,3 & 4.
Would be awesome to drive to old skool GT music. 💡 Im sure i will find some torrents.

I know this has probably been brought up before, but now, so close to release... how would people feel about creating a GTP user playlist? I'm not sure how we'd be able to have the actual files available, as there may be some lines that can't be crossed, but we could perhaps have a thread where there's at least a text-based list for people to enjoy/explore. Everyone could submit one or two of their favourite songs and it could all be compiled. We could have one that takes into account all the different genres, as well as ones more focused on specific genres in particular. It could be a lot of fun 👍

This is so true, i'm mainly a rock/metal fan but when it comes to driving, nothing beats some old school trance and techno 👍

personally techno and trance gives me a headache.
I like listening to metal mostly because the drum beats reminds me of an idling engine and riffs reminds me of rapid rpm changes.
but thats just me

...and I thought it was pretty cool driving music, so I looked up the album/website and it's fantastic! I'm a bit of a metalhead so this totally isn't my kinda thing, but as the site says the result is better than the sum of it's parts. Downloaded them all straight away (they're free before anyone speaks up...) so I'd advise other people take a look as well: http://bootiemashup.com/bestof/

Probably listen to the soundtracks that GT5 has to offer first. :)
 
I'm surprised no one has listed this yet, especially some of you DnB/Breakbeat lovers. There aren't many songs as awesome as this for a racing game.



And off of Tricky's latest album, Kingston Logic. Unfortunately the only working Youtube videos for it are live versions. If you do listen to it, you need the Tricky one and not the Terry Lynn one.

Don't get me wrong, I've got a lot of alternative/rock, and even a few metal tracks prepared for GT5, but it's all rather obvious and people just keep listing the same things over and over.
