No matter what game I play, I always turn the music off.
For GT5 that will be no different, I want to hear those horse powers to the max and enjoy my ride.
That also goes for the smaller cars that have less then 100HP.
I don't want to be a tourist while racing at +250KPH you know..
Wow... I wasn't sure anyone else here knew those groups existed. Well, save for Wagner.Amon Tobin, Kid606, Wipeout soundtracks and 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' (the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey) whenever I'm either doing time attacks at Tsukuba or driving at the Nürburgring.
Also Dolby Anol, Exile, Mr. Scruff... Although so far on most racing sims/games I just turn the music off, though that might be because I don't like any of it. Except for Wipeout HD, of course.
Ditto. Plus I'm sure I could find a ton of race replay appropriate music by people like Joe Satriani and Derek Sherinian. And I'm intending to compose a few of my own. I'd also hope to be able to include menu music. I am praying that SONY includes all the music tracks from ALL Gran Turismo games from all regions.I'd probably do just about every (good) track there is that ever appeared in a GT game.
4th time in 2 pages someone said this. GO START A THREAD ABOUT NO MUSIC!!!!
GT1's soundtrack is still the best one in the series in my opinion, so I may toss some of those songs in there, although I always have music turned off while I drive.
I'll be listening to the song "yellowbird" by the german band RUF which consists of 6 flat members and one BIG A** TURBO
Also many pieces from that high pitched Italian composer wee all know
And once in a while i'll listen to the song "V8 in cubic inches" by Chevrolet or any other american cover.![]()
I will be doing really weird stuff. I will be listening to music that probably will never be featured in a videogame like Tangos, Mariachi, Norteño, and Cumbias.
Of course I will have things that have some slight possibility of appering in a videogame like Classical, Europop, Electronic; but mostly I will be listening Metal.
Imagine all that mixed. A Megadeth song and after it a Mariachi song.
BTW we have a thread like this one here:

EDIT:
I know what I will be listening in endurance races.
POLO POLO
He is a man that tells really funny jokes, some of them really long. He is perfect for the highway and will be for endurance races. Highly recommended.
What are good hip-hop songs ideal for racing?
